Amazing toothbrush. After using sonic care for over a decade, was surprised that oral B was so much nicer. Smaller head to get into tight areas. Feels as if I came from the dentist every time. Taking away two stars because travel charging case uses proprietary two prong charging cable instead of USB C. Would have been smaller and more versatile. I do this for any and every manufacturer that refuses to get onboard with usbc. Will not buy another oral b product until I ensure it has usb c.

I purchased 2 of the IO9 toothbrushes from my dental office within the past month. The staff was ranting and raving about how wonderful these toothbrushes are and how many features they have. I was super excited until I realized that the toothbrushes that were purchased from the dentist's office lacked several features that I was told about by the staff. This is very upsetting especially because of the price. The toothbrush works well however lacks several of the features.

Also, there are numerous options to choose from like daily clean, whitening, sensitive mode and more. It comes with 2 different brush heads, a slick black onyx designed travel case, and a charger with a magnetic base. It is simple to connect your smartphone and toothbrush via bluetooth thru the Oral-B App. The App uses the toothbrush’s Artificial Intelligence to show you how well you brush your teeth daily and help you to improve your brushing methods. The base of the toothbrush has a display screen showing the amount of time you brush your teeth , a sad face if it wasn't long enough, or a happy face when you do a good job. A Green light will circle the base of the toothbrush when the right amount of pressure is used during brushing. I liked the easy to hold design of the electric toothbrush. Also, all the modes and settings are simple to get to by a button on the device shown by the display window. The device holds a 3 hour charge and the battery is recyclable. The packaging and all inserts for the product are recyclable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I really enjoy this electronic toothbrush. The onboarding was exciting, and easy to learn how to set up. The brush vibrates at each 30 second mark to help you keep track of time. Honestly, it's not much work to brush my teeth, I think that's no surprise to anyone, but this luxury adds a bit of fun into the process. We all deserve some fun every now and then!

The high price is ongoing - io heads are considerably more expensive than others- but should be justified by the app. Unfortunately the app regularly misdetects which portion of the mouth the brush is on, resulting in unreliable guidance on cleaning. Hopefully this will be resolved in a future update.

I doubted that the claim that these can whiten teeth, and I just got a glimpse into my mirror and said out loud, "Oh my God, my teeth! They're so white!" I like the way this round head cleans each tooth. It's why I chose this quiet IO7 series over the Sonic. My dentist uses a round electric brush, so why wouldn't I? Works great; the electric brush is not very loud at all compared to the motors of others I have heard. Easy to use. The app is just meh, though. It's a cool idea, but it does not get the back of my teeth correct when brushing. I love the red/green light on the toothbrush that tells me if I am brushing too hard. After my 2 minutes, I feel like I left the dentist every time I brush. I wake up in the morning with a clean feeling in my mouth. I got a great deal on this toothbrush on the Oral-B website. I will be upset if this brush stops working after my 60 days is up. I had read a few reviews elsewhere where purchasers said the brush just stopped working, no warning. Fingers crossed. I cannot believe this clean dentist visit type feeling. This brush is awesome!

Had this foisted on me at the dentist. It won’t take the regular heads, so now i have to buy the expensive new replacement brushes. They must have taken a cue from Apple. Change up interconnecting parts for no good reason so you can’t use what you already have.

I purchased the Oral-B iO series 9 toothbrush back in May during a Mother’s Day sales event. I was shocked to see the increase in consistency, in regards to my brushing routine. I love utilizing the app because it allows me to ensure a thorough cleaning each time I brush. I also love that it motivates me to brush more often and to keep up with my flossing! I love that the app shares data with my Apple health app. Part of the reason why I love Apple health app is because it gives me insight into my daily activities and rewards me for meeting my goals. Like the Apple health app, the Oral-B app tracks my progress and rewards me for meeting goals! I have read other reviews that talk about his toothbrush being messy; As long as you disconnect the brush head from the toothbrush and rinse both the head and toothbrush, and then dry after each use there is no mess. I have always done this with my power toothbrushes so it’s no biggie for me. Love, Love, Love it!

I like that it tells you where you need to do better brushing. The different mode options on the brush really help with what I want from the brush. My teeth and mouth feel so clean. I like that you can personalize the led light ring to whatever color you want. I’m very happy with this brush. I definitely recommend
