[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the dark chocolate version of the olyra organic breakfast biscuits. I enjoyed it a lot! It is pretty expensive for the amount you get (4 bars per package) compared to other similar products. I didn't find it tasting better or being that much better than the alternatives. I also think this is more of a treat, at least the chocolate version, rather than a breakfast staple.

I think I was just not prepared for the taste I was about to experience. I will be eating these as a grab and go breakfast or a snack on the run for the foreseeable future.

I chose the dark chocolate as it would be better received by my husband and son. My 11 yo son took a bite and wasn't thrilled but he doesn't like any breakfast biscuits. The biscuits themselves are definitely grain-full so a bit dry/hearty and the chocolate filling was a bit dry sending shards of filling in the package. I just picked them up with wet fingers so I could absorb all the chocolate goodness. People that are used to eating whole grain snackies will enjoy. People that feel Belvita is super health food, will not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biscuit was like an oblong sandwich cookie with dark chocolate, creamy filling. It was great as a dessert but would be too sweet for breakfast (for me)! I would like to try other varieties. Would be good dipped in hot coffee.

They are sweet enough to curb a sugar craving but not too sweet. I loved the creamy chocolate in between the two biscuits. I will definitely buy these again!
