Me molesta que las instrucciones de uso sean incompletas y que no vengan especificadas como en otros productos de vitamina c que he comprado de otras marcas… este no menciona si se puede usar en la mañana y noche… y tampoco los cuidados que se deben tener al aplicarla ni la forma de aplicarse …

I like Vitamin C and have usually seen improvements to skin tone and evenness after using it. This one from CeraVe is no exception with the added bonus of being a company I trust. Price seems comparable to me to other Vitamin C serums that I've bought and which have been effective. The con for me of this product, and the reason I will *avoid* buying it unless this changes, is the packaging. The metal tube is brittle; it's not friendly to travelling; it is difficult to get every last bit of the serum out; and both times I've bought it, I've had to handle it VERY gently, otherwise the tube cracks, which wastes the product, and allows the product to oxidize. This stuff is comparable to other Vit C price-wise, like I said earlier, but it is not cheap enough for me to be okay with product spoilage. Now, I'd deal with this drawback if the packaging allowed for improved recyclability, but it doesn't even do that! A metal tube with a long plastic nozzle is not even recyclable around me, making this less recyclable than other options, which matters as someone who tries to be semi-conscious AND conscientious as a consumer :/ Keep it up with the formulas, CeraVe, but with this one, unless packaging changes, for me, it's not worth the investment and energy.

I am so disappointed. I wanted to try a new vitamin C serum and I thought I couldn't go wrong by purchasing one from Cerave as I love all of their products. The packaging is great, because it protects the serum from oxidation. I started slow, as I do with any new product, so I decided to use the serum every other day for the the first 2 weeks. The first issue I had was that the product caused pilling of my moisturizer and makeup. I tried 2 different moisturizers to see if I could find a good combination, but to no avail. This in itself makes the product unusable. Currently, my face has broken out all over. I rarely even get a pimple and I haven't changed my face regiment other than adding this product. What a waste. Be careful if you start this product and you have a big event coming up!

I'm now in my 40s and my neck was starting to get that crepey skin. I was going to buy the really expensive serums, but checked out CeraVe's lineup first and found a product at 1/5 the price! I've never had a bad experience with CeraVe, so I gave it a try. I'm very happy with it. Too many reviewers are just reading the ingredient list and giving this a bad review without even trying it. Denatured is mostly ethanol. I bet the other reviewers have at least an occasional drink. Even fruit on the counter has some ethanol in it. It does not feel like an alcohol-based toner, it feels like a very light gel moisturizer. If you wear make-up, this is an excellent primer too. I use the vitamin A PM serum in the evening and this in the morning. I follow with make-up and/or sunscreen. I had a bit of sunburn on my upper chest from forgetting sunscreen one day and put this on and it seems healing too. I never write reviews, but I don't want people who have never used this product ruin it for me.

I've been using CeraVe Vitamin C Serum for over a year now and it has vanished my sun spots and given my skin a wonderful glow. I keep it in the fridge and have never had an issues using this product or it turning color. Beautiful and potent vitamin C! Highly recommend!

I've been using this vit C serum for years and I'm very satusfied and happy with this product not only bec it's good for my skin but also it's fragrance-free. I just recently placed an order again and twice I did return it. There was a powdery smell on the serum when I applied it. I ordered twice on different stores just to make sure it was legit. But I returned the items twice too bec they both smell like powder when I applied it on my skin. I hope Cerave company will bring back the original Fragrance free Vit. C Serum. This is very important to me bec I'm allergic to scents.

I can't get over how amazing this product is. My drab, tired dull skin is now vibrant, soft and looks 10 years younger. Please don't change I thing! I've been singing praises of this product and smile at the mirror every day because this turned it all around. I love all the products I have tried, but this is by far my fave. That beautiful skin I missed is back. Love love love.

It is a serum that's not too thick, which helps with absorption. It has a high level of vitamin C in it, 10%. This anti oxidant helps reduce inflammation, lighten dark marks, and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. For me, this serum is giving my skin a nice glow. It also hydrates my skin really well too. I will have to continue using it for a longer period of time to see if it does smooth my fine lines and wrinkles. Other ingredients in this vitamin C serum include: * 3 essential ceramides that help to protect the skin's barrier from the environment. *hyaluronic acid *Vitamin B5 I have oily combination skin and found that this serum does not make my skin more oily. It also sits well under makeup. I like that it's not fragranced and developed with dermatologists. The packaging makes it easy to use. Just squeeze the tube for the serum to be released. I do like how it's making my skin look brighter and how lightweight it is. It also has a summer like smell to it. I'll have to use it for a longer period of time to see if it helps to reduce my fine lines and wrinkles.

Was the recipe for this recently changed as well ? I have been using all the products from the purple Cerave line for years, but I have been extremely disappointed with my most recent refills. Like the day cream with SPF, the vit C serum is different in both texture and especially smell in a bad way. It's now thicker, greasier and has a very strong/artificial/sugary smell. Hoping they just dropped the perfume bottle in their most recent batch because I'm already looking for substitutes.

I have been using this serum for about a year now. I had purchased extremely expensive serums at Sephora and Ulta, and when money was a little tight, I needed to find an alternative that wasn't as expensive. I am SO glad I did because this serum has replaced all my other skin care products. I apply a light layer in the morning with CeraVe sunscreen on top, and I apply a very heavy layer at night. I find that a thick layer works well as a moisturizer for me at bedtime. I have noticed that my fine lines have minimized, my post-acne hyperpigmentation has calmed down, and it's one of few products that does not make me break out. I have tried almost every product in CeraVe's lines, and this is by far my favorite. I will continue to purchase this in the future!
