This Vitamin C serum didn't do much for my skin unlike some of the more potent ones on the market (15-20% L-ascorbic acid). Honestly, I would love to see niacinamide in this as well, since I know CeraVe uses niacinamide in quite a few other of their products. And for those with really dry and sensitive skin, we prefer seeing a fatty alcohol instead of an astringent one on the ingredients list. Also, the packaging design is not great either. With Vitamin C being so unstable, I really don't think this is the most efficient packaging. It also leaks everywhere out of the cap. I definitely think there should be improvements to this product before I try it again or recommend it to a friend.

I love this serum. I used a much more expensive vitamin c serum and was hoping this would provide similar results while being gentle and more affordable. It is! Immediately gives you a glow and helps keep your skin vibrant and hydrated over time. I use it while my skin is still damp and then put lotion over it. Recommended.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I started getting a lot of break outs around my cheek area and they would leave dark spots and I was so insecure and then I started using this with my skin care routine and it evened my skin tone! I recommend this to everyone every time they ask for my routine! Plus a little goes a LONG way. I have eczema and I get flare ups on my neck and it has never flared it up when I apply it there!

I have been using the Vitamin C serum for about six months. I've been very happy with it. I just bought a new tube and the serum was a very different color from what I have had. My previous cerave serum was a pale, creamy color. The new tube was a darker orangey tan. What's up with that? Any thoughts?

I actually LOVE this product and there is no scent, until I've had it on about 30-60 minutes, then it smells very weird! The best way to explain the smell is somewhat "mechanical", the container is, I'm not sure, "metal" or "aluminum" which you can only see when the cap is off. I think that is where the smell is coming from. Honestly, this makes me sad, I'll have to return it to the store, the after smell, I guess it is, is so unpleasant, I can no longer use it. I'm sorry to give this type of review but I want the company to be aware.

I was so excited when I saw this at the store but I didn't have my glasses with me so I wasn't able to read the ingredients. So disappointed when I got home and was able to read that denatured alcohol was in it!! I mean why put this ingredient in there? It serves no positive purpose at all as it is sensitizing and weakens skin. Come on CeraVe!! You get so many products right but definitely not this one. Back it goes, such a disappointment!

I use this every morning and I love it, gives me a beautiful glow helps my complexion. I use the gel cleanser morning and night , then my Vitamin c in the am and for pm I use night time peptide cream ( not greasy at all) I have oily/combo skin and the routine has helped me a lot I love cerave ( oh can't forget the eye cream )

It's a solid vitamin C serum but only in the beginning. Less than half way through the tube and it's oxidized! Cerave please reconsider the packaging. Your retinol serum pump tube is amazing. Please use it for vitamin C. Until it is changed, I won't buy again, sadly.

I've been using CeraVe Vitamin C Serum for over a year now and it has vanished my sun spots and given my skin a wonderful glow. I keep it in the fridge and have never had an issues using this product or it turning color. Beautiful and potent vitamin C! Highly recommend!

I wish I could get a refund for this pricey serum, but Walgreens's return policy doesn't extend past a month. The worst Cerave product, and I love their other products. I kept it tightly sealed and stored in the dark, and the product went yellow/orange after a few weeks. Even a tiny bit oxidizes horribly on the skin, leaving horrible orange streaks after an hour or so. Do not use. Don't waste your money.
