Absolute disappointment

Every 2-3 weeks the scales "forget" users and have to reset them and re-add them to the account. Very sad. At a new start, the scales can automatically record the weight of another, second user to the first user. As a result, my husband's profile records and stores my weight, not his.

It didn’t work with our router

Love the scale now that my IT friend rigged a work around so the scale would talk to the Internet. It didn’t work through the router no matter what we tried before connecting it to a mother device. Now that it’s working I love it. Just be aware it doesn’t work with all routers.

Great scale, poor integration

Seems to measure well and accurately. Big problem is that it only syncs to Garmin connect via wifi using older 2.4 ghz bandwidth. You’ll find lots of posts online from people having trouble connecting their scale. Ridiculous that it doesn’t connect to phone/Garmin Connect via Bluetooth, or via 5ghz wifi.

Took a little work to set up, but works great.

I love all the data this scale provides, and when using the GarminConnect app, it tracks it over time nicely as well. It helps to learn how the scale calculates the information it reports beyond just weight, but it's fascinating to see all the results. After a couple of weeks, this is working great, and our whole family loves checking in regularly.

Game Changer

It’s SO much better to get my weight without having to then open the Garmin app every day and enter it manually. The other stats are amazing. Proactive. Efficient. Seamless. Cool. I LOVE it so much I bought the blood pressure cuff as well. All that data in one place. AMAZING.

Nice Scale

Got this scale after I purchased the Venu 3. It replaces my Fitbit scale that just doesn't do anything now. I only had the scale for about a month and I had a little difficulty in connecting to my Wi-Fi(5g) but a little adjustment to my router settings corrected that. love all the stats it gives me, and it compliments my new Venu 3 watch very nicely. Highly recommend these products

Hassle Free

I love that all of my data automatically syncs to my garmin account. Makes everything so easy! I do wish there was some way to turn it on and off because I pull mine out from a cabinet every day, and I get worried that it is wasting battery while stored on its side. I would recommend this product, especially for those who already use Garmin Connect for a lot of their health and fitness data.

Wow

This my second Garmin Smart Scale. Connection to WiFi has greatly improved, and so has the ability to add multiple users on the device. The data from the scale instantly connects to your Garmin Connect. And just like that all of your information is at your disposable. I highly recommend the scale if your concerned about your fitness and/or maintaining it.

Works great

I finally upgraded to the world of smart scales and after a lot of research, this was my end result. I am happy with my choice and the product. I feel it's accurate and the convenience of uploading my information is perfect. Sometime I just don't have the time to manually enter all the details myself and it's a rush to just try and get a daily weigh in when you have a toddler. So far so good!

Syncs easily underestimates fat

This scale is great if you love stats but hate logging them. I use the connect app a lot, and it's nice to be able to step on the scale and go about my day without logging into an app and recording each number. I recently had a Dexa scan done and this scale is about 3-4% under the fat amount. It's consistent, but I'm pretty sure it's been off by the same amount since I got it. I have a much older scale from a different company and it shows exactly the same number as the Dexa scan and the Garmin scale has been 3-4% under that one every time I compare fat %. If you want to track change over time, it seems good for that. And compared to my watch telling me I'm less fit than I hoped, having my scale be more forgiving may not be the worst thing.
