I’m very happy with the scale and the features, but with multiple users that are about the same weight and the “tap” sensing that doesn’t provide any sensory feedback it is sometimes hard to select the right person. Maybe there should be some type of confirmation before logging it to Connect. The link to connect is sometimes wonky and unreliable. Like I said, good high quality Garmin product but not great in terms of usability.

I bought the Garmin scale because I was looking for more accuracy of body fat than my old Tanita Ironman. It’s hard to say which is more accurate! My Tanita says my body fat is 17%, and the Garmin says 9%. So idk! I guess I won’t know until I do a DEXA. I do really love that the data goes directly to Garmin connect!!

We have compared the results of the garmins scale to several other scales and body analysis device and it seems to read quite high. Surprisingly a cheap scale was closer to the professional values. Not sure if we will keep it. Seems like these are all well known issues garmin is aware of but choosing not to address.

I purchased this scale for my husband and I to use. We both have garmin watches and loved the idea how this would automatically sync our data to our watches and the garmin app. The scale emphasis is user friendly, and you can have multiple users. The scale is not great for multiple users. The instructions state after you weigh yourself and it collects the data, you should be able to easily touch/tap the scale to switch between users, this is not the case. Whether you gently tap, touch or more aggressively tap, it continually adds weigh ins to the wrong user profile. This is disappointing. I will probably return to using my tried-and-true non-smart scale that I've been using for over the last 12 years. I wish the smart scale was more sensitive to touch so it would not be so challenging to switch between users.

I like the features and how it automatically uploads to Garmin Connect. But it's finicky to activate/turn on and I recently had to reset the scale. I wish I could just set it down, tap it with my foot, and get a reading but it's not that simple. I do like knowing something about bone mass, fat vs. muscle, etc. Is the small hassle worth the small benefits? I'm not excited yet and it's been since Christmas. Sorry -- I love the rest of my Garmin stuff.

I got this to replace our last body scale. It’s my wife and I. She just wants to jump on, get a few numbers and go. But to see trends I tried to add her. You can’t unless she is a Garmin connected person which she is not. So you have to send invites, create accounts, etc. There should be local user accounts like my last one

I love the connectivity with my other apps. I don't do anything but get on the scale and my stats are loaded into all my fitness programs through the garain app. Seems accurate and always .25 lbs than my other scale so that is a win (don't know which is right, but will take the lower number any day). One area of improvement, the only way we can get ours to turn on is to slightly lift it with a toe and put it back down. Which we could wake it by stepping on it, but not a big deal, might just be our unit. Otherwise great scale.

This is my second scale from Garmin and I do love this new scale over the old one. The metrics are easier to read and faster. I do have to admit I have a love/hate relationship with this scale. I love it when I am focused on my diet and workouts and see the pounds and BMI dropping! I hate this scale when it points out to me that I cheated on my diet and was lazy on some workouts! This scale is very accurate and will keep you in check. I like it because it will be honest with me and let me know I need to pick it up and stop eating bad!

It has been a few weeks since we purchased scales for our city and country house, the syncing of the scales thru the app is powerful for consistency of measurements. The additional data pertaining to the building blocks of the body scans gives us additional areas of focus in addition to gross weight.

Took about an hour to link to my Garmin Connect. It’s buggy and challenging. Then it went off line and took me another hour to reconnect. The numbers are way off compared to my most recent In Body scan. I realize it won’t be as precise but it’s off by 6 lbs and 3 % BF
