Love this scale

I have had this scale for sometime now and love it so far. I weigh in every morning and love that it is automatically is tracked in my Garmin Connect. Scale weight is very accurate other metrics that it tracks not sure but it gives me a good picture of how I am doing in the other areas that it tracks.

Easy Setup!

Very happy with the quality and features of this scale. Switched from a Withings that was having a rough time consistently connecting to WiFi. Chose the Garmin after many reviews and the fact that I’m already heavily dependent on Garmin devices for bicycling; the Connect app is easy to use. The scale takes its readings quickly, and uploads to Connect and Apple Health before I’ve even stepped off it. Very happy with the purchase.

So far, so good!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and went on vacation. I have only had a few days to use it. I had to call service to find to how to add another user (email works better than the app). Also how to change from kilos to lbs. Plus it registers me at 27% body fat and I am actually lass than 15% I was told this will settle in and get more accurate as the scale gets to "know me". I wis the online manuel had a lot more information.

Old version was much better

I had my original Smart Scale for 5+ years and loved it. Unfortunately it met its demise a few months vs a tile floor. I ordered the newest version and was very hopeful it would be just as good or better. From the moment i opened the box, it has been a disappointment. The Wi-Fi set up took much longer than the old scale, which wouldn't be a big deal with the scale actually worked. I find I need to weigh myself at least three to four times, and zero it out or calibrate in between to get a semi accurate result. Thinking it was a defect with the one I got, I sent my first one back after a month and received a replacement, only to find it acted exactly the same way. I have had to use my husband's 20+ year old scale as a baseline to see if mine was correct. And the other data points (BMI, body fat %, water %, etc) are way off. I had a body composition test done several months before my last scale died, and the numbers I got from two different methods from the lab were pretty close to what my scale was reading. Even when I entered in those data points into the new scale, the daily readings are still way off. If I wasn't s tied to tracking my weight in Connect while in a training cycle, I'd toss this one and get a better one.

Great scale once you get connected.

So far this scale seems to be accurate. It tracks with the inbody scale report that i got at the gym. It took a bit to get it all connected and figure out how to have otheres connect but it wasn't bad once we figured it out. I wish i would have had it sooner to track my fitness over the last couple years.

Great Scale!!!

This is a great scale!! I love the all the data and the ability to customize the display. The size of all the numbers and letters are perfect. The color and the design of the scale are really nice. I use the Garmin connect App to store the daily reading which works flawlessly. There is only one thing that I wish the scale had. When you stand on the scale i am accustomed to my old scale which beeped when the weight locked in. I am sure that for someone which is heavy set it would be great to have the weight locking beep. Not a deal breaker for me I would recommend the scale to anyone.

Works well, but Body Fat% is off

I used a Garmin scale for many years, but it died. I purchased a Withings and got similar readings to my old Garmin. I just bought a new S2 for my 2nd home. All the readings track, but the Body Fat % is double what my other scale shows. I researched and this seems to be an issue for older users (I'm 64).

Great scale with nice features

As a tech enthusiast and fitness tracker, I recently invested in the Garmin Smart Scale to streamline my health metrics. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive, with a minor nuance worth mentioning. **Design and Integration:** First off, the scale's aesthetic is a high point. It's sleek and modern, fitting seamlessly into any bathroom decor. The real game-changer, however, is its integration with the Garmin Connect app. The scale syncs data instantly, making tracking a breeze. Garmin Connect's comprehensive dashboard offers an array of information, from weight trends to body composition metrics, all in one place. This level of integration is particularly beneficial for those deeply invested in the Garmin ecosystem. **Customization and Added Features:** The ability to customize what metrics the scale displays via the Garmin Connect app is a thoughtful touch. Personalization in health tracking is vital, and Garmin understands this. Additionally, the weather forecast feature is surprisingly handy. Checking the day's weather first thing in the morning, right as you weigh yourself, adds a layer of practicality to the daily routine. **Sensitivity Issues:** The scale's sensitivity can be a double-edged sword. It powers on with the slightest movement nearby, which, while ensuring ease of use, can also lead to accidental activations. This is a stark contrast to my previous scale, which required a foot tap to activate. A button or less sensitive activation method might have been a more efficient choice for avoiding unintentional power-ons. **Overall Satisfaction:** Despite this minor gripe, the Garmin Smart Scale has been a stellar addition to my fitness tracking arsenal. Its design, seamless app integration, and the wealth of information it provides make it a worthy purchase. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to consolidate their health metrics and streamline their fitness journey. My overall experience has been very positive, and this scale has become an integral part of my daily routine.

Personal Data!

This is a recent purchase and so far, I’m thrilled! I love how the weigh-in information syncs with my Garmin app and allows for review of weight, body fat, BMI, muscle mass, bone mass over time. I’m still learning where I should be in these measurements and this will be a good tool to add to my fitness goals.

Very Glitchy

It doesn't work the way it's supposed to. It says you should be able to tap the scale to activate the LCD display but that doesn't work. You need to physically pick it up for it display. Was a lot of issues setting it up with connecting to my phone/app
