Great Until Adding Additional User

I got through the horrendous user experience to add the app, add a Wi-Fi connection then add a device (scale). I’ve been using successfully for several years. Just tried to add my wife. For some strange reason, I need to add her to my Garmin account before I can invite her into the scale. Just an awful user experience. Now, though, when she steps on the scale, it thinks it’s me and vice versa. Awful.

Love the Connectivity

I love the connectivity with my other apps. I don't do anything but get on the scale and my stats are loaded into all my fitness programs through the garain app. Seems accurate and always .25 lbs than my other scale so that is a win (don't know which is right, but will take the lower number any day). One area of improvement, the only way we can get ours to turn on is to slightly lift it with a toe and put it back down. Which we could wake it by stepping on it, but not a big deal, might just be our unit. Otherwise great scale.

When it works, it's great--but its very touchy

When the scale works, it works nicely. I LOVE how it updates my information in Garmin Connect. However, it is extremely touchy--currently, it only seems to work reliably when it's in the middle of my bathroom floor. When I put it where my old scale was (in a convenient place to weigh myself, but also where I'm not tripping over it all the time), it never wants to read anything but basic weight. Still working with support on this--but no resolution yet.

Needs updating

I bought this scale specifically to analyze body fat % (bf%) on my Garmin 265. I tried to enter it manually but couldn’t do so before I got the scale. Garmin Connect wouldn’t allow it. The only option was to buy the scale. I bought it hoping for an accurate bf%. The bf% was way off (by almost 10%). To correct the problem I had to take a measurement on other scales and manually enter it. Same with skeletal muscle mass. I would have hoped that a $ XXX.00 high end scale would have been more accurate without having to manually enter the data. I took measurements on different scales and the bf% registered +/-15%. Before I manually entered the bf%, the Index S2 Smart Scale put my bf% in the 20%+ range. Very disappointing.

Easy and Efficient to use....

I am so happy with my Garmin S2 Smart Scale. It is easy to use, has helpful data, is clean and sleek, and it sends my data directly to Garmin Connect so I can track easy. Simple, quick and efficient. After looking at many scales, I elected to go with Garmin and I couldn't be happier!

You have a socker field to make you product better

1. It's a not simple way to set up your Garmin Connect and Index S2. Not on the first try. 2. And not clear how to connect my wife to it. I resolved this issue but it took some time. 3. When I see my weight result in Garmin Connect I don't understand if those results are normal. Why not show max-min figures and a link to read about them?

Mostly accurate and consistent - high body fat %

I recently updated to the Index S2 after my S1 finally failed. The S2 provides more detailed data on bone mass, muscle mass, and water percentage which may be helpful. It is hard to get it to turn on and frustrates others in my family. Justing standing on it or tapping doesn't work. I find I need to pick it up and then set it down again to get it to register - acceptable, but annoying. Also, my reported body fat percentage jumped 10-12% higher relative to what my S1 reported. One nice thing is that my Garmin account no longer updates my weight to 60 lbs whenever my kid steps on the scale. But perhaps this is because they can't figure out how to turn it on! Sometimes stepping on the scale twice in a row shows a fluctuation of about .7 lbs. Not very confidence inspiring for such an expensive scale. The Garmin Connect sync has been great which seems to be what we're paying for here.

Better than my old Withings scale

The Garmin S2 replaced my 10 yo Withings. The S2 measures many more aspects of my body, but it doesn't really do ANY analytics like the eufy. Is my 40% water good? What should it be? My muscle mas seems to be declining slightly even though I'm exercising more. Just wish there was a little more information around the data.

Not bad

This has been pretty reliable and seems quite accurate. Love that it differentiates users very well, and syncs with the Garmin app to track health and even gives weather or the day. Only con, is that is is weird about turning on. Sometimes a floor vibration and turn it on, where other times it comes on after you fully step on.

Repeated failures with dry skin

A great tool for regular weight and getting the data into Garmin Connect. However, the other parameters it is supposed to measure don't work unless I apply a moisturizing lotion to my feet at bedtime (I like to use the scale every morning). I'm 70 years old, 6'4", 190 lbs, very active and healthy for my age. My feet skin does tend to be dry, but it is annoying to have to lotion them every night to be able to get all the data from the scale. Wondering if others have this problem.
