It’s surprising to see how different this is made at other stores from reading other reviews. My roll was soft and firm and the frosting was just the right amount of sweetness. I found this to be a top dessert for Sam’s club bakery. I definitely recommend, yummy with donut shop coffee as well!

5 stars for the cream cheese frosting!!! They hit it out of the park with the frosting!! Please Sam’s Club use this frosting for the cream cheese cinnamon rolls. The cake was bread like. Delicious flavor, just dry. To see a video of this cake check out my instagram: desertfoodie88

We have bought these every fall for years and it used to be amazing, but now it's way over-spiced and over cooked - it is MUCH darker in color than they used to be. Way too much nutmeg and cinnamon so you don't get much of the pumpkin flavor, itself. Sad that they clearly have changed it.

Pumpkin rolls are one of the great pleasures of fall. Pumpkin rolls are difficult to make, so I always prefer to buy them. I am so happy Sam's is carrying my favorite fall dessert!! This product has the perfect amount of pumpkin and cream cheese. It is culinary perfection! I always have to eat some and freeze some. Frozen pumpkin rolls are divine! It is the perfect dessert for a get together or just to brighten your day with a special treat!

Everyone in my house loved the flavor of the pumpkin roll. The pumpkin flavor is subtle compared to other products. The cream filling provides good balance with the dense texture of the roll. I'll definitely add this to my regular grocery rotation, especially for holiday entertaining.

The pumpkin roll has the perfect balance of cake and filling. There is not too much of either making it easy for both flavors to come through. The cake is flavored well without going overboard with spices and the creamy icing is a good compliment. We served it this weekend at a birthday party and everyone enjoyed it.

I’ve never had a bad bakery item from Sam’s until now. The cake was very dry and the filling had very little cream cheese taste. I thought I had just gotten a stale cake but after reading other reviews, I guess it’s supposed to be that way. I won’t buy again.

Has a lot of pumpkin spice flavor which I like. Icing is very good and good texture- almost like butter? If you don’t like cakes on the drier side this is not for you. I had it with coffee and it was very good. I do think the pumpkin cookie butter bar cake is much better , but that is more expensive so for this price point this cake roll is good i think.

This was a very dense cake with just the right amount of spices and the cream cheese filling is sweeter than the cake perfect combo in my opinion I would recommend this cake foe holiday or just any family gather. The price is well worth it as this is a large roll.

The pumpkin cake role has very good flavor as does the cream filling but the outside layer was very very dry. The packaging isn’t airtight. Maybe if it was wrapped in plastic on the outside it wouldn’t dry out. Or maybe a glaze or something on the roll to hold in moisture. Again it was very good in flavor and I had to spread the cream to outside to soften the dryness.
