They help cover the odor from the box while I'm bending directly over and scooping which is super amazingly helpful. Plus Glad Kitchen OdorShield® Gain™ Original Scent bags are really strong so I don't have to worry about the bag tearing or breaking when I'm carrying it out to the trash can! Great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these trash bags. They fit my thirteen gallon trash can, perfectly, in my kitchen. They’re very strong and don’t tear, when it’s time to take out the trash. This is my first time having scented trash bags and the smell is pleasant. They’re easy to put inside the trash can and the two drawstrings on the side, makes it easier to lift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use a valet trash pickup service, and the people who come to haul our trash off our doorstep have been hating us ever since we started using these bags. The bags so easily get holes in them. We usually wind up double-bagging our trash, and when we do this, there are holes in both bags. The drawstring is very flimsy, and it's not easy to tie. If you think of the trash bag as a clock, the cutouts where you can grab the drawstring are not at 9:00 and 3:00, where I would expect them to be. They are at 11:00 and 1:00, which is what makes it difficult to tie. I'd like not to have to use the rest of these awful trash bags, but since we've started double-bagging them, hopefully we'll work our way through our supply of them quickly and we can switch back to the cheaper yet much better product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are decent trash bags. I use them in my kitchen trash can, and they work well. Fits in my removable bin of the trash can and can hold a lot. Ties don’t break when pulling trash out or tying. Only down side is the febreze freshness wasn’t strong enough to even notice. My trash didn’t usually smell a lot so maybe it isn’t supposed to be super noticeable, but I expected like a nice whiff and I just didn’t get that. But the bags are good. I’d restock with them.

But I still take the quality and durability and scent of these bags way too seriously. Glad is truly a trusted household name in trash bags. I love that they are having a sustainability moment– using 10% recycled plastic in their bags. Can we bump that percentage up? Can we make these bags available everywhere?? 10/10 I will be buying more.

We will absolutely look for this style when we need to purchase trash bags again. I only wish this came in the 8 gallon size as well for our other trash cans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box I was really afraid the scent was going to be too overwhelming and I thought I wouldn’t be able to handle the strong floral scent. But, on its own in the trashcan, it is not too overpowering and did mask odors of fish. I keep the box of extra bags in the pantry and the scent is not at all overwhelming. The bags are sturdy enough for my usage, which is not loading the bag with heavy weight items. No tears or rips have occurred and it is easy to tie up the top and use those handles to transfer the bag.

I go through a lot of bags having a family and try to stuff as much in as I can before trash day and these hold up! Plus the odor control and scent keep everyone from smelling the garbage or diapers which is a huge plus! Overall, I'm really pleased with these trash bags!
