I was a Hefty gal until I recently noticed the “shrinkflation” in their 13gal bags. They took just enough length so that now they don’t fit a 13gal trash can! So frustrating for something so simple! Drop something somewhat heavy and the top slips off, so now you have to dig in your trash to pull back up AND not only change the bag, but have to hose out the garbage can. ERRR! Not only this, but now you’re changing a bag that is only 1/2 full! THANKS, Hefty - you wanted to save a few cents per bag and force the quantity of bags in 1/2 you loose this customer for life! Hefty bags fit! And the tops are tight enough that they don’t slip off the top of the can! Bonus: they smell good!

They are not worth the box they come in and I hate I spent that kind of money of them; needless to say, I am unhappy. I picked these bags over the others because I thought the name was trustworthy. Someone has failed miserably in the design department and really ought to answer for it. There is a flaw in the construction. The top of the bag that contains the drawstring obviously is attached in production, so the bag is not one piece. When you pull the bag out of the trash can (no matter how gentle you do it) it tears at the perforated line. So I put it into another bag and the second bag tore also. This has happened on three different occassions starting with the first bag I used, meaning I have used at least three bags for no reason. They smell great but I need it to hold trash so I don't have to clean up the floor because the bag broke. No, these bags are only strong enough to carry out tissue paper. I would tell you to make kites out of them but they wouldn't hold up to the wind. What a waste.

These are the worse trash bags I have ever used. Every time I pull the bag out of my trash can, the top rips. I end up having to use 2 bags every time I empty the trash. I tried emptying as soon as the can is full and did not push the trash down so the can/bag would hold more and it still rips.

I have always used the Member's Mark trash bags. I bought these because they were on instant savings. Never again. They are thin. They tear easy. When i pull the strings they rip at the top. Back to my Member's Mark bags. They smell good. That is about the only positive thing i have to say.

These are noticeably thinner albeit stretchier than the Kirkland 13 gallon trash bags we previously used. Have already had several trash bags begin leaking once pulled out of the trash bin. We have had to double bag and/or minimize the amount of trash per bag. Only bought these because I did not see any other options for 13 gallon trash bags. Very disappointed.

These trash bags aren't that good. They tear pretty easy. I can't bring them back because I already opened them.

The glad trash bags are poorly made. They used to be thick and strong. Now glad are making them thin amd cheap. Dont waste ur money on these.

I have been buying these bags for years. This box, the bags are now thinner and rip. Glad lowered expectations and produced a crappy product now. I will be finding a new brand

NO! The smell is strong and horrible! And for being a major brand, they are thin. I tried giving them to my son but wouldn't take them. The garbage bags are garbage.

I bought this brand instead of buying members mark, thinking that this will be better. The bag is extremely flimsy, when you pull on the string, the bag tears. Will never buy this again
