great product and I can stuff them to capacity without breaking

I noticed these are very thin and tear easily. Would not purchase this again.

I've been a fan of Glad trash bags for many years. The quality was the difference. This box of bags was either defective or the quality has dropped. Many of the bags had issues with the drawstring (holes in wrong location or no holes to pull drawstring) and the bags ripped much more easily near the top of the bag when lifting the bag. In many cases, the bag was not over filled or exceptionally heavy. Disappointed in this purchase.

These trash bags were once the best available. The past few years have however they have only declined as far as the quality. At least every other box I get more than half of whatever the bag count is that seem to be defective. The split down the side seam of the bag on one side and sometimes I have found that it happens to both sides. It’s almost as tho the seam does t get properly seal while n production. It’s maddening to be tagging a bag of nasty trash out to the can and half way to the door the bag slips and all the nasty is then all over the floor! It’s not from filling my bags to full bcuz I have thought of this myself and I don’t ever fill the bag half way before taking to the can outside.

They are kind of thin

The first thing you'll notice is these appear grayer than what you're used to if you buy them elsewhere (where they appear white). The reason for that is they are noticeably thinner. No savings is worth a bag that rips all around the top when you try to remove it from the trash bin's inner liner (this doesn't happen with the whiter/thicker versions I buy elsewhere). First time I bought these here. Last time I buy them here. No small savings is worth the hassle. These should be considered light duty only.

They are not worth the box they come in and I hate I spent that kind of money of them; needless to say, I am unhappy. I picked these bags over the others because I thought the name was trustworthy. Someone has failed miserably in the design department and really ought to answer for it. There is a flaw in the construction. The top of the bag that contains the drawstring obviously is attached in production, so the bag is not one piece. When you pull the bag out of the trash can (no matter how gentle you do it) it tears at the perforated line. So I put it into another bag and the second bag tore also. This has happened on three different occassions starting with the first bag I used, meaning I have used at least three bags for no reason. They smell great but I need it to hold trash so I don't have to clean up the floor because the bag broke. No, these bags are only strong enough to carry out tissue paper. I would tell you to make kites out of them but they wouldn't hold up to the wind. What a waste.

I had been buying the Member's Mark version of these but thought I'd splurge one day and went with the Glad. HUGE mistake. Everything single time I go to take the can out of the trash, it rips around the top where the draw string is. I'm more than half way through the box and I do mean every single time. The garbage bags are themselves, garbage.

I do not know how these bags have such a high rating. They are the worst trash bags I’ve ever used, no exaggeration. Any time you fill it more than half or3/4 at most with kitchen trash, it rips while trying to lift it out. We’ve had to use almost double the amount of bags due to it. The Equate brand drawstring bags are far superior and less expensive. I bought these to try the scent, but we’ll go back to equate ones.
