Cheaply made

These are the thinnest, cheapest, garbage ever!!!! Don’t buy these things. They are not even 13 gallon. I out them in my garbage can and they don’t even touch the bottom they just hang in the garbage can and because they hand they tear whenever I out something in them.

Have been using Glad 13 gallon tall kitchen bags for years and they were always reliable and strong enough to hold all of the skins of a large water melon plus more. That was until now, the new bags were so filmy and garbage leaked out of the bag into the kitchen floor. What a mess and my wife screamed at me for buying so many because they were on sales. Shame on you, Glad! Please don’t cut corners. Once you lost the trusts of your loyal customers it will take years to gain it back. Please return to making quality garbage bags.

Never been happier to run out of trash bags! These have a name that intimates toughness, but they are ultra thin and split, almost invariably, when installing on your receptacles and/or cinching them for the outdoor receptacle. We have four different types of rectangular receptacles … all purchased at popular retailers, so they are what I would consider standard and common. The Gain smell, which I typically like, is also overpowering. I’d steer clear of these and look at other options.

These are extremely cheaply made. I’m genuinely surprised the makers of Glad would allow these to be associated with their name. The bags are so thin that even the slightest stretch causes holes. The tie is flimsy and unreliable, making the whole bag feel unsafe to use. Overall, very disappointing quality.
