[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is a huge upgrade from our previous one. It's very soft and cushiony while still being supportive. We have it on a platform bed with slats, so we did not need a foundation and I'm glad because the mattress is very tall in itself. You'll need sheets with deep pockets in order to fit! There's a reason why Stearns & Foster is the best.

I had the cassatt ultra plush and exchanged it for the lux hybrid soft and regret every minute of it. I swear I have a defective bed. It is only soft in certain spots and for the most part hard all over and I can feel the coils or whatever this bed is made of. I've had it longer than 6 months so it's definitely had time to break in and still as uncomfortable as ever. And from previous reviews I know stearns and fost won't do a darn thing about it. Such an expensive bed for low quality. Do not recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked when I received this Queen sized Stearns & Foster Reserve Medium Tight Top. This mattress is the thickest mattress I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping on! First of all, it's HEAVY! It took me and my husband dragging it up our house's stairs to get it into our bedroom. The sewn in handles on the sides makes it slightly easier to move, but it's still super heavy. Once we got it on the bed frame, I noticed that since the mattress is so thick, it covers up half the headboard! That's not a complaint, as the thickness is what makes this mattress so comfortable! There are sewn in grooves and waves in the top of the mattress that give it this pillow feeling when you lay down. Both me and my husband weren't disturbed when we tried moving around as the other person laid still. The mattress works well at absorbing movements. Also, not that you'll see it when you have bedding on it, but the deep blue color of the mattress is gorgeous. I do think a deep pocket sheet set would work better than a standard queen sized set. I'm excited that this is now my new bed, I feel almost spoiled! I will keep telling my friends and family that Stearns & Foster is worth the hype and the money!

After just two night I feel no pain , no tiredness in the morning and just feeling good. This is queen size with medium tight top. I absolutely loved this mattress. I knew this would be the best mattress in the store, but was I willing to fork over what it cost? Took me 4 years to be completely fed up with current mattress and take the jump. I should have done it sooner- first night on the mattress was unexpected comfort. Rested in the morning, very few turn overs in the night. No back pain and no stiffness. I have the firm, but it is more like a medium and it's perfect. It does have a chemical smell that I expect to go away soon- I don't care- it's a great mattress.

It has just the right amount of firmness (I can't stand mattresses that are too soft or too firm). The pillow top is a nice luxurious touch also that most mattresses don't have. We recommend the mattress highly.

My wife and I are on our second Stearns and Foster mattress. The first failed under warranty luckily and was replaced with our current mattress. Our experience with our current mattress is the same. Both sides have indentations and valleys that create a poor night's sleep. My wife is under 110 ponds and I am around 175 so I dont think our weight is an issue. Customer service will not replace this mattress stating "it is still within limits". By the way, this mattress is only 3 years old. Our next mattress will not be a Stearns and foster.

I fall asleep immediately every night it is so comfortable. Another plus to this mattress is the built in box frame at the bottom so you don't need a box spring.
