I really loved this soup but I did not expect the kick of spice that I got. I usually like spicy stuff but didn't expect it in this soup. It had a good consistency and very tasty. I didn't give it a 5 star rating because of the spiciness could be a little less.

My husband and I were both surprised when we took the first spoon full. We had recently had a corn choder at a nice resturant and this ship & corn was equal or better. The shrimp didn't overpower the taste and were a perfect compliment to the corn and some small potatoes. Has a little kick, not spicy, but just enough to enjoy. We will definenty buy again

My first reaction was “where’s the corn?” It seems to take a backseat to the red bell pepper. Second impression was, it is a very tasty soup that actually includes whole baby shrimp! But still, for a “Corn Chowder” I’d prefer the corn be more forward. I may see what I can conjure up by adding some creamed or whole.

We bought the item and 3 days later we were about to have it for dinner but i think it went bad quick. The expiration was still good but the taste on that soup was old. We were bummed and sad it didn't turn out the way we thought. Money down the drain!

got this for an ill friend, then found out she is allergic to shellfish, so had to figure out how to eat it all myself. I did enjoy this meal during lunch for several days. I did not appreciate the potatoes and corn though so I guess im not a chowder gal. I love Shrimp Bisque though.

The Member's Mark Shrimp and Corn Chowder had a good flavor. It was thick and had plenty of lobster pieces in it. For my personal taste, it included too much "heat." My body just doesn't accept any type of "heat" added to my food. Many foods are now made with spicy, hot flavorings so I have to be careful. Will I buy again. No, but for those who can tolerate spicy foods and seafood, go for it.

I saw this Shrimp & Corn Chowder and my eyes lit up!! I had recently eaten corn chowder at work for lunch and thought it would be good with shrimp. When I saw it at Sam's I had to buy it. I took it home and immediately tried it. I was pleased. It was another good buy. Priced fair for the amount.

Have purchased and enjoyed the product many times in the past. Product was discontinued for the summer months and recently reintroduced around Oct. 1st. Was very disappointed to see that this year's version appears to contains absolutely none of the tender shrimp which made this product so good in the past. I'm hoping this is a mistake as the product label still states “generous amounts of tender shrimp and corn” I will be returning the full container I still remaining along with the empty container I have for a full refund.

I have never even considered writing a review for anything I have bought from sams club. But this, this is the most delicious soup I have ever had, ever hands down. And I thought oh the shrimp pieces will be small, no they are whole mini shrimp and there are so many of them. If sams club ever discontinues this soup I will send an email to corporate every single day until they bring it back. 1000/10 buy it, now!

I've been waiting since last winter for MM Shrimp %26 Corn Chowder to come back. Finally it did a few days ago (10/25). I ate it for lunch today and was terribly disappointed. It used to have alot of small shrimp in it. It was so good. Now there's just bits in there and once in a while you get a tiny shrimp or part of one. I don't remember diced potatoes on it before, but there's more than enough of those. It's mostly the cajun creamed liquid that makes up the soup. I won't be buying it again. I'll learn to make my own. I'm considering returning what's left. It definitely doesn't look like the pic on the package although it did before.
