We were looking for a firm mattress in originally purchased a Beautyrest Black. Was very disappointed with it and sent it back and replaced it with our Sterns and foster firm pillow top. The difference is that with the beauty rest it was firm, but actually quite hard. After just a couple nights of sleeping, a divot formed in the mattress, which shouldn’t happen. The Stearns and Foster is firm, but the pillow top gives it a little bit of soft comfortable feeling. While the mattress does conform a bit to your body, The, divots in the mattress aren’t quite as noticeable as with the beautyrest. Pro tip: purchase your mattresses online directly from the manufacturer site. Delivery was a breeze, and you won’t need to pay a large return fee to a furniture store. Wish I had known that from the start.

I did not realize how poorly I was sleeping until I slept on my Stearns and Foster mattress. I had been getting up at least 3 times to use the bathroom and now I am sleeping through the night or getting up only once. I don’t wake up the the body aches anymore. I love my new mattress!

I am a 6'2", 220 lb sleeper. My wife is a bit shorter a lighter. I'm a back and side sleeper. She is a side sleeper. If I don't have good back support, my low back will not like it. If the top is too hard, my wife's shoulders and hips will be heard about. We have never had a king size bed. OMG. And the mattress makes us both very happy. We do have to spin the mattress every 1-2 months (we have owned it about 3-4 mos now so maybe did it twice, just to mix up the pillow top a bit. I have to emphasize, my wife is picky, she is very happy.

This is my first time to own such a luxurious mattress!! My husband and I both have been sleeping so much better. We ordered the medium tight top Lux estate and I am still in awe at how incredibly well made it is. It feels like sinking into a cloud at the end of a very long day!!!

This is my second Estate mattress purchase- the first being 12 years ago. Yes, the first did last that long! Super happy with the product, and company as a whole! Thanks S&F!!!

Honestly, I’m obsessed with this mattress. It’s a bit of a splurge, but totally worth it for the quality of sleep. My back finally feels supported, and I was out like a light the very first night!

This mattress has given us the best night sleep we've experienced in years. It is perfect for us, firm but cushioned for a perfect night sleep. A quality mattress worth it's price. I would buy it again next time!

Shortly after sleeping on this product the pillow top thread started to pull out. We contacted support and received the complete run around with not a thing solved. We bought this item 4/6/22, mod 525128, made in Md. (or so the tag states). This mattress is hot to sleep, when you can sleep. This mattress is 4 yrs old and we are considering throwing in garbage and buying another brand.

I just purchased an SF through mattress firm. I am so disappointed, especially for the high cost. I struggle with back pain, and this mattress sinks in the middle. My husband and I feel ourselves rolling into the center. This should provide far more support than it does.

Replaced a previous Sterns and Foster (firm) in 2023 which was 8ish years old and was great. But due to age and the resulting pressure point issues (shoulders/hips) bought a Medium Lux king pillow top. After a few months the mattress formed two depressions which were very uncomfortable. (It did help with the pressure points). The depressions make it difficult to turn in bed or get out if bed. We placed folder blankets under the bed to counteract the depressions. Will not consider another Sterns and Foster brands when we buy a replacement in 2026.
