It's about as great as any telescoping controller which connects directly to your phone. The controller itself is high quality and as fun to use as any controller. I paid for a month of the Backbone App. It didn't add any function to my phone that it didn't already have for free so I didn't subscribe.

Bought for my husband to play from his phine with kids while working out of town. great item for its use.

I gave the price a 3 star because its is high for what you get. I happened to be out of state and seen it on sell for $35, which to me is a better price compared to the $75 they are going for now. Over all, for $35 on sell, I cant complain.

great controller, has a charger passthrough and can be used as a wired in controller on pc, phone, or tablets. I had to buy another one since the thumb stick broke off in my pocket and it's very difficult to get replacement ones.

i bought 2 and 1 didnt work. but i like to play with this on my phone but u ha w to pay for the backbone app

Controller went out after 1 month of ownership kept it in the box only right side works left side went completely out looked it up come to find out I wasn’t the only one to experience this

there are plenty of controller addons that can simply be recognized by your phone and used. this does not. you have to have the app, and then you have to pay for the app if you ever want it to shut up about buying it, and then you have to keep minimizing the app when you want to use xbox cloud gaming from your browser bc it keeps trying to push you on the xbox app through app in app some such rather and it has not been what you use ever. but after all that when you push the buttons after promising the website you have a controller, it finally realizes you do....kinda.

Must remove phone case to use. No other reviewers point this out. Immediately returned it.
