The queen size mattress sags on both sides, large hump in the middle. Advice : sleep in the middle. SERIOUSLY. it is uncomfortable to sleep anywhere on the mattress. We bought this mattress because we were told it was the "best". it is not the best. Buyer beware.

This mattress is just the right amount of support and comfort so that I wake rested and with less back pain than I have had in a while. I am amazed at how much I fell in love with this mattress! I actually just purchased a new mattress 3 months ago but decided to temporarily switch them so that I could sample this one out for my review. After just the first night of sleeping on it, I knew that I wasn't ever going to switch the mattresses back again! This Estate Firm Pillowtop is my permanent bed now! I have ankylosing spondylitis, degenerative disc disease and other spine issues that have been causing me a great deal of pain and discomfort. I woke up at least every hour and a half due to the pain, toss and turned all night. I know my original bed had no support so I bought a new mattress designed for side sleepers and to support lower back etc for my specific needs. It was such a relief and huge improvement that I didn't think it could get any better than that. But Stearns & Foster proved me wrong! I slept ALL night long without waking up once! I haven't slept this good in years! The mattress has excellent side support for sitting on the side of it to get dressed etc. My other mattress sank when you tried to sit on the edge. This one is built so sturdy and strong that I can tell it's made to last a very long time! The material of this bed absorbs movement so it has great motion isolation as well. I can't feel it whenever my dog jumps onto my bed or leaves throughout the night. It has the firmness my spine needs for support and alignment with just the right amount of pillowtop for plush comfort! I recently purchased my very first Stearns & Foster Estate Queen Medium mattress, and topped it off with 2 S&F Lux Estate Queen pillows, and can I say I am sleeping so much better than I have in a very long time. On top of poor sleep, I was experiencing lower back pain, but I haven't had any since sleeping on my new S&F mattress. The quality, workmanship and comfort of the mattress is far better than any I have purchased over the years. I would say Stearns & Foster is the Rolls Royce of mattresses!

I tried this for 30 days and I do not like all the memory foam in this mattress, it's too hot to sleep, I sweat all night long and I am used to a traditional innerspring mattress, and I do not like that there is no bounce back or is really slow to bounce back, the memory foam is very prominent. This mattress was not soft enough for me (my body would fall asleep if I was sleeping on my side and my shoulder would hurt) but may have been if it weren't for all the memory foam. I do have issues with back/neck pain. This was a good quality mattress and I hope Stearns and Foster changes or adds a model that doesn't have so much memory foam in a soft TT or soft pillowtop that is affordable. I would hope to try this in the future because it seems like a well-made mattress and I never experienced what they were like before Tempur-Pedic acquired them, maybe I would have liked them then but couldn't afford it at the time. Hope this helps someone, and I hope Tempur-Pedic can make a mattress without so much memory foam!

I used a medium firm mattress before and sometime my back hurts when I wake up, but it haven't bothered me anymore since I use this new mattress. My family have a good sleeping.

We were in need of a new mattress (ours was 18 years old) and in very bad condition. After doing some research, we decided on a Firm, pillow top. We've had it for 2 months, and already the mattress is sagging. We decided to go with a Sterns and Foster because of the reviews and it seemed like the Top of the Line product. $3,000 + and we are sorely disappointed. I'm happy there was a 120 day guarantee with it, we will go back to the store and select a different mattress. It took 10 years for our old mattress to start failing, this took 2 months. It started out really good, we slept better, felt supported, now we feel like we're on a hill toward the center. We will not choose the mattress without the pillow top for fear it will do the same thing. We will chooses a different brand, Sadly.

Delivery and setup was flawless and took no time at all. I've never had a pillow top mattress before and so happy I got to try this one. Over that last couple of years I've suffered from back pain. Only after 2 nights of sleeping on this mattress my back pain has mostly disappeared. For a firm mattress, it isn't stiff and uncomfortable like a lot of other firm mattresses that I've had in the past. It is a little taller than any mattress I've ever had but not a problem for me. Overall I think if you are a larger person and want a mattress that will give you support but also comfort for your hips and shoulders, you'll want to try this estate firm pillow top mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to receive a free Estate soft tight top mattress from Stearns & Foster to try and give my honest opinion. I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it.
