excellent sound and quality and Bass but...

I have purchased 5.1 Vizio sound bar in the past, very good bass, quality and set up, but this one disappointed me in the fact that the eARC has issues, it does not work, purchased a Sony XBR 90H and CEC did not recognize the soundbar, I thought it was the TV so I got the Vizio 55 OLED and in my dismay it did not recognize the soundbar either, purchase a 2.1 HDMI high end cable hoping that thas the problem, but nope still did not recognize the soundbar no audio control no Dolby Atmos DTS X sound nothing, it only worked if I hooked up the optical cable but that is only Dolby Digital 5.1, I am soooo disappointed in this soundbar, I hope Vizio is getting some kind of firmware update for this.

Outstanding performance for such a low price.

This component exudes excellent sound quality that is rich, detailed and immersive. The accompanying subwoofer provides extraordinary depth and punch; surprising performance for its size. The remote control offers a plethora of features to tailor the sound to your liking.

Impressive product with connection issues

This system did well for a few weeks but now connection problems are getting too frequent. Doing an occasional reset was fixing things for a while but now it is every day. This was a Black Friday purchase which has now gone past the Sam’s Club return eligibility date. I will now give Vizio support a try.

Amazing sound and Bass but one small issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the style, so sleek and modern! The amount of speakers completes the soundbar great! Concern is that the eARC has issues, it does not work, even with either one of my newer TV's. (Hisense and LG brands.) Last week, I did purchase a 2.1 HDMI high end cable hoping that would correct the problem, but yet again it did not recognize the soundbar. It would only work if I hooked up the optical cable but that is only Dolby Digital 5.1. The Vizio soundbar overall is a 5 star product but I hope Vizio is getting some kind of firmware update for this.

Made a Different

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upfront, I am not an expert on sound equipment, not even close. With that being said, however, the VIZIO M-Series Sound Bar has truly enhanced my viewing/listening experience. I have a slight hearing loss, not bad enough for aides, but enough that I need the volume turned up higher than some people would prefer. The experience of the sound bar AND the rear speakers has made a big difference for me. I can now enjoy watching programs without blasting my guests. Definitely a huge plus in my books. I feel like I’m in a luxury viewing room. With that being said, the one drawback for me, personally, was having to connect the rear speakers to the subwoofer. The configuration without this restriction would have made arrangement a bit more convenient, but we worked around it and I’m glad. I did have some help setting it up and I’m still learning how to use it properly, but I definitely know I’m going to have many hours of listening pleasure ahead of me. (Would give 4-1/2 *s if possible.)

Excellent Sound and easy to setup

While previously owning 2 other Vizio sound bars, this was my first with Dolby Atmos. The sound is great, but did need a bit of fine tuning to appease my ear. It wasn't as simple as turning the bass/subwoofer up and adjusting the other levels. It did require a tempering of front end sounds to achieve the bass and subwoofer feedback that I was looking for. Once dialed in, it was a solid experience. The one snafu that has come up is with the HDMI input. I have an older tv that did not have a ARC input, but when powering up the bar it defaults back to ARC leading me to switch inputs every time. Annoying, but workable.

Amazing sound for amazing price

I bought this one month ago for black friday to go with my new 85 inch tv and boom blown away . MOVIE NIGHT IS NOW AT HOME MOVIES LOOK AMAZING AND NOW HAVE THE SOUND TO GO WITH IT WITH DOLBY ATMOS AND DTSX JUST WOW ONLY GOING TO THE MOVIES JUST TO SEE MARVELMOVIES LIKE SPIDERMAN WOW

So far not what I was expecting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the sound bar with the hope of making dialogue while watching movies easier to hear and understand. So far the sound bar has not been able to perform this task successfully. I have consulted with support several times to no avail. The underlying problem is that the volume has to be turned way up to hear voices clearly however when music or other sound effects play they are at an ear splitting level which means I have to constantly turn the volume up and down while watching the movie or TV show. We have tried using night mode, TruVolume and also adjusting various levels but nothing works and the last contact I had with support they suggest if I keep having issues the device might be defective? I really don’t understand why dialogue and sound effects can’t come out of the soundbar at a comfortable level.

Sound bar subwoofer blew, no warranty support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within Warranty period subwoofer driver blew and was making horrible noise. Attempted to contact warranty support and got no response. Bought a replacement driver and fixed it myself. Would not recommend.

Fantastic Sound Bar!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this sound bar today, and it looks and sounds amazing! Unpacked it and read through the manual which made it a breeze to set up. Once the sound bar was connected to the subwoofer, it was game on. The sound is amazing. You can either set it up with the speakers in front, or from the rear. Either way it sounds great! We're so pleased with this sound bar, we're buying a second one for our other TV. Vizio hit the mark with this one! Definitely would recommend to everyone!
