It allows that person to maintain dignity with comfort and avoiding embarrass if there are any accidents or incontinent episodes. Also, the slide on and ability to act more of a natural underwear was more comforting and made it easier for this person to wear depends. Specifically only urinary incontinence for this review. Someone who wore these had mixed incontinence and not total incontinence. It's good for those longer days when you may not be able to check into the toilet as frequently and has good absorption.

They aren't bulky but they aren't discreet under tight clothes so I mostly wear them at night or around the house. I like that they keep me dry and I'm not constantly having to change because of leaks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a package of Depend Fresh Protection Bladder Leak Underwear in size medium from Influenster in exchange for my review. I never used this type of product before. I usually use the bladder leak pads when I get stress incontinence, which occurs mostly when I am sick from frequent coughing. The material feels similar to the hospital type maternity underwear given after child birth, it has multiple rows of smocking, and a large, thicker pad built in. The fit is slightly snug, and the pad can feel unbreathable during extremely hot weather. It gets difficult to pull up and down when sweaty. The pad itself has a lot of absorbency, which is ideal as there were many pads I would have to change every hour. The coverage and shape provides security in avoiding leakage from the front, back and sides. The downside would be trying to change the underwear in a public setting. In those cases, a pad would be more beneficial. The upside is less frequent changing of pads since the underwear absorbs more liquid and it feels more secure, as pads still can leak. So while I think it doesn't replace pads, it depends on the situation to use this to fulfill your needs. I would use this alternatively depending on how frequent and heavy leakage occurs.

The fabric is very soft which I like alot. They keep me from smelling anything (urine) at all. They are easy to put on and take off. They feel just like normal underwear which I appreciate.
