They are fairly comfortable, they still make a bit of noise but not near as bad as older ones. They seemed to be breathable, I don't think they would make you too hot if you had to wear for an extended amount of time.I did a text with water and it would hold a large amount of liquid. I think if this is something you are need of I would definitely recommend.
