I have tried a couple of different brands' pull-on underwear, and my overall impression is that Depend underwear are comparable to the others in terms of absorbency and comfort. The major advantage is that they are ubiquitous and very easy to find at any store. My two big complaints are related to the fit. First, I am on the small side (5'3", 115#), and I feel that "S/M" size is still much too big. I understand that there are manufacturing constraints to making more sizes, but I think it would certainly be better if it came in both small and medium; there must be a lot of women of my size who need these products: I'm not that unusual! My second problem is with the waistband. The photos on the website and on the package suggest that the waist comes up basically like average brief-style underwear. However, when I pulled out a brief and put it on, the waistband came up to my chest! I manage by folding/rolling the waist down, but it tends to roll under clothing and not want to stay put.

They were not too tight and went on with the issues. These worked under my leggings or regular clothing. I like to have these on hand when I know I won’t have immediate access to a restroom. I have a condition where I cannot hold my bladder once I have to go. I have small accidents from time to time. These are great to use when I need them. They absorbed with no issues. I only had small accidents and do not know how well they would do with larger accidents. Overall, these are great!

The gap on thigh to let your bottom some air gap to let odor out and pretty strong. The material are so flexible and durable for you to wear. Overall, great underwear to have when older.

I've been trying to find the right incontinence product to help my dad,but the sizing isn't working out for us. He wears a 34/35 pant so he's on the large end of the S/M size and on the small end of the L size. The Large slips down during the day and has leg gaps that have caused him embarrassing accidents. The S/M felt too snug to him, but when I encouraged him to stick with them as they may stretch out after a little wear - he said he didn't know which ones were the S/M and which ones were the L when he went to his closet because they are the exact same color! How hard would it be to make each size a different color or lighter/darker shade of gray so at a glance you know what size you are getting? Perhaps that's not important once you hone in on the right size, but it's confusing when you have more than one person in a home needing them. Also, none of them have been sufficient for overnight, so he sleeps on a bed pad wearing a Depend and still leaks even though he also stuffs paper towels in them (more Kimberly Clark products) , which is embarrassing and uncomfortable and makes for a lot of extra laundry service. I know you've done a lot of research, and I know you can't make everyone happy, I'm just frustrated on behalf of my elderly dad who deserves dignity.

The new version seems to feel more comfortable to wear all day long. They do their job. Very Absorbent? I like them and will continue to buy them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Depend Fresh Protection underwear is pretty comfortable. I wish the waist band wasn’t so high. If they could make a hi rise bikini fit that would be awesome! The fabric is very light weight. The padding was just right, it did not feel bunchy in the middle like some other brands. I liked the little flower design below the waist so you could tell the front from the back.

I love the Depends, but as another posted they come unglued in the front. I've tried taping them, that didn't work, haven't tried glue yet but may. Once I had a whole pack that didn't stay stuck. Although they are quite expensive, I wish that Medicare would offer some help with them since they are medically necessary. I have incontinence and chronic diarreah (?). Please do something about the gluing of the front padding.
