The coffee was full bodied and full of flavor. I purchased the whole band, and ground them before brewing. The coffee tasted fresh, with notes of chocolate and slightly nutty. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavors listed on the bag are accurate...it's got a toasty nuttiness, a touch of dark cherry and a chocolaty sweetness. But it's not a sweet coffee...it's very bold. I have to say this is my new favorite coffee. It's way less bitter than other coffees. It's just delicious.

The aroma itself is mouth-watering, and I'm a big fan of dark roast, so this definitely hits that note in the scent. The beans are firm and glossy, which to me means freshness and quality. I ground them finely and brewed a full pot for the first sampling and immediately fell in love. Rich and smooth with none of that bitterness you get with poor quality beans. It's delicious on its own, but paired with some cream and sweetness, it's divine. I brewed a pot for my family and they all raved about the blend being one of their favorites. I would definitely continue to purchase this coffee for myself, and for serving to guests.

MASHUP truly mashes the best of different beans -- rich taste, bold flavor but also very very smooth. I usually add creamer but am finding I'm adding it less because I don't want to jack with the taste. Perfect for breakfast, afternoon pick-me up. We also enjoyed a cup over birthday cake the other day which seemed to enhance the cake too! Big Big fan - so unique!

Even before I opened the bag I could smell the delicious aroma. upon opening the bad I was shocked when I looked inside. These were the freshest coffee beans I have ever seen. They were nice and dark and super shiny. I did grab a few and compared them to some beans I had from a local shop. I can honestly say, I will never be getting my beans from the local shop again!! I grounded up my new mashup beans and was hit with the wonderful smell of what fresh beans could smell like. This coffee is to die for! Between the 3 different beans and all the different tastes I was experiencing, I was in coffee heaven. An absolutely fantastic brand and now my brand of choice!! You guys really know what you’re doing!!!

I noticed big-time stomach issues (diarrhea) after drinking this for a long period of time. It progressively got worse . I thought since this was a dark roast it wouldn’t happen. I switched over to a name brand dark roast then it stopped. Just be careful and I wouldn’t drink a lot of it daily. It taste great.

There is nothing like the satisfaction of grinding your own coffee and getting that fresh smell. I ground the whole beans in my hand grinder and then brewed it in my coffee maker. The taste is awesome! I highly recommend this brand and can’t wait to try other flavors they have!

A nice strong flavor with hints of almost a chocolatey flavor. Is there anything better than the smell of freshly ground coffee in the morning?
