First off the coffee smells great and grinds smoothly. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the dark cherry profile. To my surprise it blended well with the milk chocolate and toasted nuts flavor. I believe I may have found my new favorite coffee! First of all it smelled amazing while grinding up the beans. I loved the “mash-up” of flavors and I really could taste the chocolatey, the nutty, and a hint of cherry from the first sip. It was so smooth, strong, and in my opinion not bitter at all. The aroma itself is mouth-watering, and I'm a big fan of dark roast, so this definitely hits that note in the scent. The beans are firm and glossy, which to me means freshness and quality. I ground them finely and brewed a full pot for the first sampling and immediately fell in love. Rich and smooth with none of that bitterness you get with poor quality beans. It's delicious on its own, but paired with some cream and sweetness, it's divine. I brewed a pot for my family and they all raved about the blend being one of their favorites. I would definitely continue to purchase this coffee for myself, and for serving to guests.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like Mashup Peru+Colombia+Honduras whole bean dark roast coffee. First, I love a dark roast coffee. I drink coffee all day long in order to stay awake and energized. This coffee is superb. It has a smooth, mildly strong flavor, that is rich and decadent. I add half and half to my coffee, because I love the way it tastes. Second, this brand seems to have the perfect amount of caffeine in it. Caffeine is what keeps me going throughout my day with my job, and my family. I find the blending of the beans produces a stand-out coffee that is head and shoulders above other coffees on the market. And until I tried this mashup blend, I was a hooked fan of a different brand. Anyone who appreciates a good organic coffee, made with Arabica beans, has found their match. I am very satisfied with this product.

I bought the Mashed Up coffee blend because I am tired of the 8-10oz bags at the grocery stores! This 30oz bag of Dark Roast coffee was made for me! It’s okay that it is while bean since I like my coffee on the strong side and I sometimes grind it smaller than the “ground” type. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't always like South/central American coffee as well as some more traditional Italian or French roast styles, but I like this blend and the way they've balanced flavors in the dark roast. Bonus points for being organic!

He says the flavor is good and strong, but not so strong it’s bitter. The aroma is great, too! He prefers grinding the beans fresh each morning, making the flavor pop.

The Peru Colombia and Honduras mash up coffee bean medley has a subtle yet flavorful smoky finish and I definitely taste the toasted nuts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying blended coffees, but never paid attention to the origins of each blend other than "french roast" or "Italian roast", so it was with great interest that I went to try this mash up of coffee origins, especially because my favourite single-origin chocolate regions are all in Latin America (Venezuela & Ecuador). The coffee notes were described as cocoa and dark cherry which are both flavours I love. I've been brewing this coffee all week -- sipped it dark first before adding half and half and I could definitely see this being part of my regular rotation! For being organic coffee, the price seems very fair.

The mash-up coffee was very fragrant with rich tones as soon as I opened the bag. I love the smell of fresh ground coffee and the scent became richer as I ground it. The ground coffee was dark and had a shimmer to it from the bean oil. I use a french press for my coffee so I let it steep for about 6 minutes. Given the description of the package, I thought there would be layers of flavors, (milk chocolate sweetness, dark cherry and toasted nuts), however, that was not the case. I tasted hints of chocolate and tad bit of cherry, but that was about it. Even so, I enjoyed the rich bold flavor of this dark roast and the fact that it is organic seals the deal for me.
