[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually like a medium roast, but wanted to try this mashup. The beans smell so good, and taste even better. This is my new favorite coffee! It’s not bitter at all but has a nice bold taste. I highly recommend it!

100% percent organic whole coffee beans. These coffee beans come in a sturdy resealable storage bag (with sticker reposition tab). What a wonderful combination of flavors that go beyond the basic coffee. Boyer's Coffee goes the extra mile to provide this blend of beans sourced from 3 different locations. I put the beans in my coffee grinder for a quick spin before I used the grounds in my drip coffee maker to make a wonderful pot of coffee. I plan to cool the leftover coffee, refrigerate it & use it in an iced coffee tomorrow. With a 'dark roast' I like to add more water than the 'brewing instructions' call for to customize it to my preference and then the bag makes more coffee. I like my coffee strong and when I open the bag, I smelled a deep robust aroma. After grinding the coffee and making a cup, the flavors were smooth and strong. It was a great way to start my morning. I love coffee in the morning, afternoon, and night and the stronger the coffee is the better! Now, with the costs of store-bought coffee on the rise, I am so happy I found MASHUP Peru + Colombia + Honduras Dark Roast Coffee. It is delicious and delectable and just what I need to get me going in the morning! So Robust! I found that the whole beans are best when you can grind them as you go for the freshest flavor. If you are like me and like your coffee black with a robust flavor, this MASHUP dark roast is the one for you.

The flavors of this coffee are very earthy, clean, and bold. I do pick up hints of chocolate. It dose seem to be a bit high on the acidity so I'm limited on how many cups I can drink back to back. Overall great coffee.

The mash-up coffee was very fragrant with rich tones as soon as I opened the bag. I love the smell of fresh ground coffee and the scent became richer as I ground it. The ground coffee was dark and had a shimmer to it from the bean oil. I use a french press for my coffee so I let it steep for about 6 minutes. Given the description of the package, I thought there would be layers of flavors, (milk chocolate sweetness, dark cherry and toasted nuts), however, that was not the case. I tasted hints of chocolate and tad bit of cherry, but that was about it. Even so, I enjoyed the rich bold flavor of this dark roast and the fact that it is organic seals the deal for me. The cost for the amount you receive is a good value. I would recommend this brand to anyone who likes dark roasted coffee. I purchased the whole bean coffee and was delighted with the wonderful aroma of the coffee. After grinding it, I made a pot of coffee and the aroma was very enticing. I made a pour over using my Chemex and had an excellent cup of coffee with this MASH-UP coffee. I drank it black and could really taste all of the notes. High quality beans!
