Great aroma, nice rich strong taste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying blended coffees, but never paid attention to the origins of each blend other than "french roast" or "Italian roast", so it was with great interest that I went to try this mash up of coffee origins, especially because my favourite single-origin chocolate regions are all in Latin America (Venezuela & Ecuador). The coffee notes were described as cocoa and dark cherry which are both flavours I love. I've been brewing this coffee all week -- sipped it dark first before adding half and half and I could definitely see this being part of my regular rotation! For being organic coffee, the price seems very fair.

Nicely done, South America and Boyers!

There is nothing quite like the fragrance of freshly ground coffee brewing and Mash-Up is no exception! It smells nutty and rich, with a hint of... burnt...and yet - delicious. At first sip, it was bitter and burnt-tasting. To be fair - this sip was straight-up black coffee, aaand I may have thrown off the grounds : water ratio because I am a little out of practice. Adding a teaspoon of agave took away the bitterness and now I have very strong coffee with smoky tones. This may just become a new household favorite, as it will be delicious in protein drinks and homemade coffee ice cream!! If you prefer a light to medium roast, then this heavy-hitting dark roast is probably not your coffee soulmate but if you like coffee with full-bodied mouth feel that delivers a message with each sip - I recommend giving it a shot. Nicely done, South America and Boyers. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.

Really good product

This coffee is bomb!! It's so dense and so full of flavor. If you like really dark, robust coffee, I highly recommend this one :) it smells awesome and tastes so good. also I believe I used more beans and less water than was really intended, but I recommend this :) it's not acidic or bitter. just really good, bold flavor. Love this Coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love Boyers Mash Up coffee! I wondered about the name and and found that Mash Up simply means combining. They combine 3 different types of organic coffee beans from Peru, Columbia and Honduras to produce the best coffee. The beans are slow roasted and were easy to grind and the resulting ground coffee was rich in color and aroma. We are always in a hurry in the morning and hubby gets out the door before I do. When I wake up I smell his coffee and it is exactly what I need to get me out of bed to make my own cup. An added bonus is that every bag sold supports a school in Peru. I love it when people "give back". If you like bold coffee to get you revved up and satisfy your coffee craving Mash Up by Boyers is one I would recommend!

Dark but not too dark

My review of this coffee starts with its packing, what I love about the packaging is that it has a resealable sticker to help keep the beans fresh. The coffee itself is delightful. It is whole bean so a bean grinder is necessary. I then made the coffee using my keurig reusable pod on the 8oz setting and the coffee turned out great. This is a dark roast coffee however it doesn’t seem overly dark, which I enjoy. This may be due to the fact that it has a milk chocolate sweetness according to the packaging. I also thought it was a great value for the amount of beans you are given! [This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own]

Bold coffee, unique flavor blend, great taste

Mash-Up whole bean coffee is a dark roast fusing 3 single origin coffees (Peru, Columbia, Honduras) into one. It’s modern packaging really stood out on the shelf. The taste notes description on the bag looked good. It had a great, awakening, strong aroma once I opened the bag. I brewed it with my Aeropress and the resulting cup was bold and full bodied. It’s not mild on flavor, so if that’s your sort of coffee then you’ll like it. I’m partial to light & medium smooth roasts, but this still tastes good and I would recommend it. Wonderful dark coffee

This coffee has a wonderful aroma. As soon as you open the bag you can smell the nice mixture of flavors. I also like that it smells strong too. When I ground it up, it had a very nice silky texture. While I was brewing the coffee, it had a great smelling aroma that flowed throughout the house. The color of the coffee is very dark. Some coffees are so thin you can almost see through them when brewed. This is not the case with the Mash-Up blend. The flavor is very strong and I don’t know that I could drink it all the time because I’m a medium roast type of person but it’s a very smooth taste. My husband loves it and he’s a dark roast drinker. I definitely would recommend this because it has a very good flavor profile.
