I am really disappointed in the finish. I expected unfinished wood- I was going to oil the glider-, but it's not just unfinished. It's very rough, lots of jagged edges and splintered ends. It's going to take quite a bit of effort to sand it and just make it so it's not going to catch my shirt and clothes while sitting. It's like someone took a 40/60 grit sandpaper to some parts. Overall a very low quality factory assembly. There's what look like black oil stains or paint, and I had to remove what looked like globs of dried glue, but they didn't leave marks, so... It is a comfortable bench if I don't consider those things. I probably would have gone for the painted finished version, I still might.

I was a little afraid the glider might have some damage in shipment, but every piece of it arrived in perfect condition. The fit and finish of all the parts was excellent and required no sanding anywhere before staining and sealing with epoxy sealer. It does take longer to assemble than the Sam's teak rocker I had already purchased, but it was well worth the effort. I'm 70 with a lot of arthritis and have to move slowly, but I had this glider put together by myself in a little over an hour using only the recommended hand tools. The most difficult part for me was installing the wood screws to finish securing the seat bottom and moving the finished glider where I wanted it to sit - it's not all that light after assembly and is a fairly large piece. There was no wood glue provided like came with the rocker, but that is nothing a little Elmer's can't take care of - if you want to glue the joints (the instruction made no mention of this being needed). This glider is now residing on my fully enclosed front porch - so I don't have to ever worry about any weathering. It should remain looking great and working excellent well after I'm no longer around. It goes great with all my other Sam's Member's Mark furniture on the porch - making my porch, with its many large windows, a great sitting room I can now enjoy year-round.

Members Mark, Teak Glider Bench is not teak. It does not have the grain or color of teak. After one year, it has not weathered well. I have teak furniture, so I was please to this bench, so I bought it. However, in my opinion this is not teak. Yes I would recommend this glider, knowing it is not teak.

Received this as a gift, took it out the box to assemble. Threw away the box only to realize 2 of the gliding stretch metal pieces werent in the box. Also arm rest was cracked in 2 places which i fixed myself so i wouldnt have to return. Called the 800 number and they refused to send me the 2 missing pieces because i didnt have a receipt or the box even tho i explained it was a gift. No manager available because he was "sick". Now i have a piece of furnuture collecting dust. TERRIBLE customer service. would not recommend.

Awesome price

The quality of the wood is excellent, really grade A teak. The QC is mediocre. Most of hte parts were fine except 2 issues: 1) It comes with 2 base legs, one on each side, with protrusions to connect to the main chair. The protrusions went off at different angles (not 90 degrees), so when connected to the chair, hte base twists and then it doesnt sit flat on the floor. So the base wobbles. 2) The stainless washers did not have round holes, more oval shaped. I called the support line and they shipped me regular washers, non stainless, so they would rust. Had to go buy stainless washers myself for $10. I also used a teak sealer before it was assembled to keep the wood color.

I bought this glider a month ago, before assembling I sanded the parts down with a fine sanding block and then liberally applied teak oil and let set for 30 minutes. I then hand rubbed the excess oil off and let air dry for one day. Assembly the next day was a breeze and the glider is extremely well built with good hardware. The glider is a beautiful addition to our deck and the accompanying "Members Mark" rocking chairs

Beautiful and well made piece of teak furniture. My glider had no wood or fastener issues. Everything was there and fit snugly and well. I even used some wood glue to keep it that way. The bolts and screws are definitely stainless but the stretchers are magnetic and probably not (or of lower grade). My glider will be on a porch so that’s not a big issue for me. Took about 2 hours to unpack and assemble alone. Looks and glides great!

Looks great but took awhile to put together. Also 2 people make doing so much easier.

Easy assembly. One of the support pieces had a hairline crack in it.
