“Downy is not good for children. It caused my children's eczema to flare up and gave them an allergic reaction. Their skin became very red and irritated. I would not recommend this product for children, especially those with sensitive skin or eczema.”

I would give a "0" if that were an option. I have used scent boosters for years. I selected Downy LIGHT due to its name. LIGHT. Additionally, it adds NO HEAVY PERFUMES. That is far from the case. I washed a full load of work shirts and pants and hung them in the bedroom closet. I woke up with a headache, frontal head pressure, and sneezing. The smell was so strong. I washed the washer out and re-rinsed my clothes. The scent was still there, so I rewashed all the clothes. The scent is still on my clothes but less intense. The new 40 oz bottle went straight into the trash. What an absolute horrible product. I do not recommend. I have used Downy Unstoppable and Gain products many times. I will not be using this one ever again.

A really good laundry scent booster beads for washer! It conditions the fabric well and leaves clothes soft with a fresh and delicate scent. You need to follow the instructions to get a fragrance that is noticeable but not overpowering. One bottle lasted my family about two months.

I've been using the Downy Light Ocean Mist in my laundry! The scent is fresh, clean, and airy without being too strong or overpowering. I like how it leaves my clothes smelling lightly refreshed after washing, without that heavy perfume smell. It gives my laundry a crisp, ocean scent like a clean smell every wash that makes freshly washed clothes and bedding feel better then normal! The scent also seems to linger nicely after everything is dry, which is a big plus for me. I've used it on different loads, including towels, everyday clothes, and sheets, and I'm happy with the way all of my things smell afterwards. I love that the Light Ocean Mist fragrance smells soft enough for everyday use. This has become one of my favorite Downy scents because it adds freshness without overwhelming fragrances.. I would say it's also on the affordable side of things so everyone can enjoy the clean, light, refreshing laundry scents.
