Got a rotten one

I bought it today and after removed the cover I found it is a rotten fish. I returned it immediately to the shop. Unfortunately, I carried it in my car trunk, and the whole car smell very bad right now. They should check the quality before packaging the fish.

Why did you cut it?

I'm with the other people who don't like it cut! You take out a bunch of fish and charge more for it? No, please don't do this. Just bring back the whole filet. If I want it cut, I'll do it at home. But I don't want it cut so I prefer to keep it whole!

Skin has scales still on it

First let me say that its much easier to descale a fish whole than after its been filleted. If anyone is buying this thinking they are getting yummy crispy salmon skin out of it prepare to spend an hour descaling it. After descaling, prepare to spend another 20 minutes cleaning up the fish scales all over the kitchen sink. Best way to descale is to put it a big tupperware and use a dull knife and run it over the skin against the grain of the scales. The only reason I rated this two stars is I really like the new vacuum sealed packaging. It helps keep the salmon fresh longer. But i would not buy the version with the skin on again.

Great salmon for the price

These are great salmon and we buy them weekly. We eat salmon for dinner almost nightly, and prepare them several ways. Like other fresh meat product, buy it in store so you can feel, see and smell the product. Do NOT order online for curbside pick up! Each fillet can be portioned into about 12 thin filets or 8 appropriately sized filets. Pan fried with 1 tablespoon of butter + 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 7 minutes skin side down and 2 minutes skin side up. Serve with a cup of brown rice, a side of green beans, zoodles or salad and you got yourself an easy weeknight, healthy and fresh dinner! A whole salmon fillet lasts us about a week between two adults and a 4 yo toddler. If you want to eat healthy and save $$$, consider adding salmon to your diet.

Watch expiration date

Watch expiration date.The fish was mushy?smelled and fell apart upon taking it out of pack.notice it was expire . this had happen two time now.will never buy.Sam's club said I should have just return to get a full refund.been a member for 12+ years. .
