The product itself is good but not great and not consistently good. Every now and then it is mushy and full of scales on the skin. But my disappointment is that the product is expensive and the price just keeps going up for smaller portions. I used to pay $27-$30 which I thought was a lot but now the same weight product is over $40.

On our first trip to Sam’s Club, we decided to give the salmon a try and were most pleasantly surprised at how delicious it is. Absolutely no fish odor or taste. It was truly delicious. I would definitely try it again and I am looking forward to some of the other fishes they had.

I have purchased this same fish multiple times. The first time was great, and I love salmon so I know how it should smell and taste. The second time I immediately smelled a bad odor from the fish and returned it. Got another one hoping it wouldn’t have the same problem and it did. Finally, I attempted to try this fish yet AGAIN and am very disappointed. The fish had a bad odor to it but I thought it was just me maybe thinking about it too much after the bad experience last time. I cooked it and tried one bite. The rest went in the garbage.

Salmon my diet Go-to

These are great salmon and we buy them weekly. We eat salmon for dinner almost nightly, and prepare them several ways. Like other fresh meat product, buy it in store so you can feel, see and smell the product. Do NOT order online for curbside pick up! Each fillet can be portioned into about 12 thin filets or 8 appropriately sized filets. Pan fried with 1 tablespoon of butter + 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 7 minutes skin side down and 2 minutes skin side up. Serve with a cup of brown rice, a side of green beans, zoodles or salad and you got yourself an easy weeknight, healthy and fresh dinner! A whole salmon fillet lasts us about a week between two adults and a 4 yo toddler. If you want to eat healthy and save $$$, consider adding salmon to your diet.

Watch expiration date.The fish was mushy?smelled and fell apart upon taking it out of pack.notice it was expire . this had happen two time now.will never buy.Sam's club said I should have just return to get a full refund.been a member for 12+ years. .

I bought it today and after removed the cover I found it is a rotten fish. I returned it immediately to the shop. Unfortunately, I carried it in my car trunk, and the whole car smell very bad right now. They should check the quality before packaging the fish.

I'm with the other people who don't like it cut! You take out a bunch of fish and charge more for it? No, please don't do this. Just bring back the whole filet. If I want it cut, I'll do it at home. But I don't want it cut so I prefer to keep it whole!

We have been buying this salmon for years and it is always very fresh and delicious. We absolutely love it, and our dogs look forward to when we buy it for dinner because they get a tiny bit on their food also. I usually cut the filet in half and freeze one side of it for later if we aren’t needing to make a large meal for company.
