Purchased this on the 1st of March. Date on Package had a use by date of Mar 8th. Opened the package on the 5th and fish was real stinky bad. Had to toss it out. Not going to buy this anymore to hit and miss on quality. Sam's folks did offer a credit for the item, which is nice.

You cant tell from the package because the bottoms not easy to see through but when I removed it at home I noticed the skin was covered in scales still fully attached. Do you know how hard it is to remove scales from a fillet. Scale then fillet not the other way around. What a waste of money it was and now I am not sure I want to try again.

Used to be excellent... packaged in store. NOW, it's vacuum sealed. Low in fish oil... very dry. Low in taste. Couldn't even eat the laftovers which used to be a treat for me... warming it up a little in the microwave... a little salt. Delicious. Not anymore.

My wife & I pick up a package of this every time we visit our local Sam's Club. I smoke it in my electric smoker with some cherry chips & it provides a delicious, juicy filet. We cut it up into deck-of-cards sized portions & then enjoy at least three nights of wonderful salmon meals in a row! Highly recommend!

I am so disappointed in Sam's decision to change their skinless salmon to the product they are now selling. The old salmon was packaged fresh, dark pink and thick and delicious. This new product is light pink, vacummed seal and I threw it all out (which wasn't a cheap choice). It smelled so bad, I would not feed it to the dog. Sorry Sam's but you are changing your products and it's not a wise choice. I agree with all the posts regarding this new salmon you are selling.

We used to buy fish at Sam's once every week or 2, but I haven't bought any in months. The new packaging is vacuum sealed with so much liquid that the fish is flavorless and has a disgusting water-logged texture. I really hope they bring back the old packaging, because I won't buy this trash again.

For the longest time, I stocked up on the salmon in the foam trays and it was fresh. This filet smells awful and the water surrounding it looks excessively murky. I rinsed it off to see if that’d help because it is fish but NO SUCH LUCK. I wasted $40 on two, this fish seems to be spoiled.
