This gel is so lightweight and instantly absorbs into my skin. I was amazed at how well my skin stayed hydrated. I have super dry skin this time of year, and I expected to have to use this along with a heavier moisturizer. But no need for that, it works great on its own. This has become my go-to moisturizer, especially now that the colder weather has really dried out my skin. One of the things I love most about this product is the texture. It’s a gel, which feels incredibly light and refreshing the moment it touches your skin. Unlike heavier creams that can sit on the surface, this gel absorbs almost instantly, and leaves no greasy residue behind. It keeps my skin hydrated all day long, which has been a game-changer during these colder months. My skin feels soft from morning to night. I also like that it layers well under makeup because it doesn’t feel cakey.

I first tried the hydro boost water gel when it was released and liked the texture but the scent threw me off and had a sort of alcohol-y sting on my skin. I switched to the extra dry gel cream fragrance-free version, even though I don’t have dry skin but just loved the product so much. Now that they’ve released a fragrance-free water gel version, this is my new daily staple!

It has a light blue color with a thin consistency that spreads very well. A little product goes a long way and it doesn't feel greasy. I even like the packaging. It looks and feels expensive.

The light weight cooling texture of the gel makes it perfect for summertime use. When I applied the gel to my face I instantly felt refreshed . The gel goes on easily and does not leave the skin feeling sticky. My face felt so hydrated,soft and not at all oily. I also noticed a very light but pleasant scent. Bottom line is I would highly recommend this Hydro Boost Water Gel.

I have tried many, many different moisturizers over the years. I have definitely had a few favorites, but this is the one I keep coming back to. It applies beautifully and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and fresh. I have repurchased this cream multiple times. I enjoyed using it but the ingredients include fragrance and blue dye. It would be a really great cream if it did not include these two unnecessary ingredients. I have tried the extra-dry skin version to not have fragrance and blue dye but it is a bit too much for my skin. Please come out with a new version without fragrance and dye. I would buy it again if this change happened!

If you have skin on the drier side, you might not feel super hydrated, but with that said, Hydro Boost has kept our skin from becoming too dry. Despite its lightness, it seems to soak into the skin and hydrate it from the inside out.
