I love this gel because it is so super refreshing! It's hot in CA and this feels great when I apply it. It lightly moisturizes my skin without getting greasy. I only take away one star because it is pretty heavily fragranced like a clean linen candle. I tested Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel for free, but all opinions are my own.

I usually do not feel so strongly about their other products, so it must be a special ingredient that causes the unfavorable scent. I did not love the way it felt on my skin and would not absorb for a while. I could find a better product to cater to the hydration need. I am typically a fan of their products. It didnt make my skin any worse, and the product was even throughout use, so I will give it that.

I'm so bummed about this product. I bought this and the serum a few days ago after deliberating for weeks. Beautiful, enticing packaging. Everything feels nice in the bottle and on my fingers, but when I put it on my face, it gets very itchy. I just wanna wash it off! It's a shame because my skins does look very fresh and glowy, but I can't stand the itching! Also, the scent is strange, it reminds me of laundry soap. I feel bad because I love most Neutrogena products I try, but this one was a bust.

This water gel formula is so hydrating, and even includes hyaluronic acid. Love how it doesn’t feel heavy, yet refreshes the face. Wears nicely under makeup. I have oily dehydrated skin so the “oil-free” hydrating component attracted me. It has a very light, clean fragrance which I prefer rather than no fragrance. Affordable and easy to find. I’ve been using this for over year and can’t say enough about this moisturizer. Its fragrance free, very light feeling and doesn’t leave my combination skin greasy. I like this product a lot and am on my 2nd container. I initially purchased to see how it holds up next to Belif - not 100% the same, but I like the texture. The water gel formula never leaves me feeling greasy and it has a light scent which doesn't bother me. It has not caused me to break out, which is a huge plus for my skin. I will continue to purchase this because it hits all the checkboxes for me, and the price point is appealing as well.

It leaves your face and neck moisturized for the whole day. It feels so good when you put it on your skin. Feels nice and cooling. I give this hydrating gel two thumbs up.

I started using this about a week ago. I live in MN so winters wreak havoc on my skin and dry me out terribly! My normal every day moisturizer wasn’t cutting it and my chin and cheeks get so dry and flaky. I saw positive reviews for this product so thought I’d give it a whirl and it doesn’t disappoint! It’s so silky and buttery and applies like a dream. More importantly it’s really helped my skin stay hydrated all day. Definitely recommend!! (I’m super sick in the pic, sorry!)
