I have used it for couple years now and I have recommended it to so many women in my life. When I heard they changed the formula I was not happy, but having tried this I am not completely disappointed. Original one is thick and creamy, while this one is more watery and light. That’s the only complain I have otherwise it’s just as good as original formula.

I love how light it is, when you apply it it’s a very smooth texture. Gel can be quite thick but this applied easily as if it was water, and that feel made my skin feel hydrated. I received this Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel in my Influenster box complimentary. I have used this product for about 2 weeks and I do enjoy using it. I use this in the morning to wake up. I have oily skin most of the time and this gel keeps my skin moisturized all day. It says it is intended for more dry skin. I feel most everyone has more dry skin in the winter. This gel feels like water on the skin and is very light weight. There is no white residue and keeps the face refreshed! I will definitely repurchase this product!! This review is entirely my own opinion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of gel moisturizers, especially over summer! They're just very soothing and you never have to worry about that white cast sort of thing that often tends to get stuck on your eyebrows or creases. This gel in particular is lightweight but definitely packs in the hydration. It absorbs well and doesn't feel oily/greasy. I don't have sensitive skin but this appears as though it would be gentle. I didn't remove a star for this as it's purely subjective, but I would prefer it come in a pump bottle. I always feel like these little jars can be a tad messy. Plus, if you scoop too much, I don't like putting it back as that doesn't seem sanitary..even with clean hands. It's a bit easier to control out of a pump bottle. Anyway, still really love this product and will continue to use!

I am in love with this product! I am 47 and I pride myself on treating my skin well! I wash my face and use the product in the a.m. and before bedtime. My face typically has an oily t-zone during the warmer months. The Hydro Boost water gel has done a wonderful job of keeping my skin moisturized and shine free. I never leave home without a jar in tow! I keep it in the refrigerator and it feels so cool and refreshing after my facial. I wear it alone because I don't wear makeup! One of my holy grail products! Recommended it to all my friends and they’ve loved it as well. Phenomenal dupe for some of the luxury gel moisturizers I’ve tried in the past (Belif Aqua Bomb and Glow Recipe). Super hydrating, dissolves into the skin fast, and cooling to the skin. Choose this one over the normal Hydroboost, as this one is formulated for drier skin and you can avoid the potentially irritating fragrance in the original formulation. 10/10
