I have been using this moisturizing gel for the last couple weeks morning and evening after washing my face, and I am impressed. It is a bit different than the moisturizers I am used to using--which I expected because it is more of a gel consistency. I love the light scent and how nicely it absorbs into my skin. I definitely can notice my skin feeling softer, more hydrated and rejuvenated. I will admit every time I apply it, I feel as if it is lacking something...but I always end up pleased afterward, so I think I just am not used to using a gel like product. I do think the cost is somewhat steep for the size of product, but the product does work. I tested Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel for free thanks to Influenster, but my review and opinions are my own.

I have combination skin that can be a bit finicky with some products that I try at first. This gel creates a smooth texture and absolutely absorbs into my skin creating a smooth texture. The amount of hydration l received from this product was simply perfect for my skin. I’ll definitely repurchase.

Girl if you have dry skin, RUN, don’t walk. This is next level hydration. I feel like this is the best dupe for StriVectin water cream. Almost a tad better, and a good $40+ dollars less. Seriously though my skin goes from feeling like the bottom of a pizza to silk!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing moisturizer. It’s very lightweight and feels clean when applied to my face. I only used a small amount and it was enough to keep my face feeling hydrated all day. My face felt and looked smoother. It didn’t exacerbate my acne. I would buy this again. There IS fragrance added in this moisturizer that’s pretty strong and smells like aloe but don’t worry, the scent fades after a while.

The new version has a very similar gel like texture & it absorbs into skin quickly. I wear sunscreen and makeup over it, and there is no pilling. The new formula is so different. They removed a dye & fragrance and added the natural moisturizing factors. Very impressive formula. I love that it keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. If you are looking for a simple moisturizer, I would definitely recommend this.

I normally have combination skin. At 8 months into pregnancy, my skin is more unpredictable than ever. That is why when I had the opportunity to give Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Water Gel a try, I was excited. Within moments of apply this product to my face I had a noticeable different in the texture of my skin. My rough texture on my jaw line was gone, leaving my face smooth and soft. Apply it was a breeze. It has a different type of consistency similar to that between a cream & a gel but without the sticky texture of gel or the greasy feeling of some creams. It did not make my skin “shine” with leftover residue, instead it provides a natural “glow”. (I’ve finally gotten the “pregnancy makes you glow!” comments. I’m not afraid to share my little secret that pregnancy has nothing to do with it!) I received Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel for free, but all opinions are of my own. My eyes are very sensitive to anything near them and I have no problems with this at all. Can hardly wait to try the other products in this line.
