I purchased this product in Jan 2017 in search of a good moisturizer. Didn't think it would work because it said hydrating, instantly making me think I would look like a GREASE SLICK. Boy was I wrong. I am very oily and with this product I not only hydrate my skin, I DON'T have to touch up my makeup due to oil breakthroughs. It's the only moisturizer for me.

The packaging and jar are attractive to look at and as soon as I dipped my fingers in the gel it felt moisturizing. The gel is lightweight, absorbed into my skin and dried quickly . My skin felt soft and hydrated with no stickiness. I appreciate that it is unscented. The only thing I would change about this product is to have it include sunscreen.

I only used a small amount and it was enough to keep my face feeling hydrated all day. My face felt and looked smoother. It didn’t exacerbate my acne. I would buy this again. There IS fragrance added in this moisturizer that’s pretty strong and smells like aloe but don’t worry, the scent fades after a while.

I review a lot of beauty products for my blog, which include many moisturizers. This is by far the best drugstore moisturizer I have used, and to be honest many of my blog reviews do not favor most of the moisturizers I've had the opportunity to try. In fact, this is even better than most high-end brands for less than half the cost. Neutrogena is one of the few drugstore brands I can use because of my very sensitive skin. This moisturizer has a high-end feel that leaves my skin so soft and moisturized without a greasy feeling. As soon as I put it on, my skin feels soothed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this gel cream, as it is a "holy grail" product for so many on various skincare forums. First, I have to knock off one star because the product packaging claims really oversell it, specifically "6x more hydration than untreated skin" and "48 hour hydration." This was not my experience at all. That being said, it is a lovely lightweight moisturizer for higher humidity days. I received the product when it was 71% humidity and it worked fantastically for my combination skin. However, the past few days have been hovering around 35% humidity and I feel like my skin needs a heavier moisturizer. Hyaluronic acid draws moisture from the air, but if your skin is more moist than the surrounding air, it will pull moisture from your skin instead. So, I will keep using this gel cream on higher humidity days because I really do like the formulation, but I will have to skip it when the air is too dry for a hyaluronic acid product.

You do not need to use alot, a little goes a long way.This water gel does not leave your face oily after it dries. It makes your face feel so soft and hydrated. It did not make my face red or cause a break out. Also has a great smell.

My skin is so dry and VERY sensitive that I am always so nervous to try a new product, especially on my face. But, I am so glad I risked it! I love this moisturizer. I've used it for about four weeks now. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized without feeling oily or heavy. As I mentioned my skin is so sensitive I have a hard time using any kind of face lotion.
