While it was amazing for hydration (my husband complemented that a few times) it was difficult to figure out a routine to best suit my skin type. It overly hydrated my oily areas and caused painful pimples a couple of times. I’d definitely say this product is better suited for just dry skin. I hope Neutrogena makes a formula for combo skin, because that hydration was amazing on my southern summer skin!!

There isn't anything I would improve. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone. It's an overall decent product to use on my face.

I have very dry skin so I like that this is super hydrating and gives a dewy look. I like the formula of this - it is a gel so it is more lightweight and absorbs quicker than a cream. The gel feels so refreshing and it instantly makes my skin feel hydrated. I like the ingredients in this as well, it has hyaluronic acid, which is a need in my skincare routine.

I saw this product on the store shelf and later was surprised to be chosen to try out this product through Influenster. The gel is watery and goes on light and has a cooling feeling on my skin. It wakes you up in the morning with that refreshing feeling. So far so good, haven't seen any allergic reaction yet, but I use it sparingly on my face in areas I tend to have rosacea. I'd recommend for those with uber sensitive skin to test it out on you arm or a spot on your neck or underside of the jawline to see if you get any reaction. I have combination oily skin. I bought it few days ago, I was shocked about how my t-zone not getting oily like my other moisturizer. I'm wondering is it because this moisturizer is so hydrating? Because face producing oil because it lack of hydration. The only con was I don't like the scent. But will definitely continue using this product.

The smell immediately made me love it and when I put it on my face I am now a forever user of this product. My skin has never been this soft and almost glowing. I’m big on skin care and follow a strict regimen; and this was so easy to incorporate into my routine. It’s lightweight and cool on my skin. It’s a water gel so it doesn’t feel heavy and doesn’t clog my pores. A little goes a long way; but it comes in a good size recyclable glass jar that will definitely last awhile. The moisturizer is super hydrating, leaves my skin feeling refreshed and revitalized. I’ve been using it everyday regardless of which serum or treatment I use before it. It doesn’t have a scent, and it’s gentle enough to use morning and night. It didn’t irritate my skin or break me out. I have combination skin with moderate acne and this has been amazing to my skin this summer. If you need a weightless, hydrating cream that isn’t overbearing - THIS is it! I can’t recommend this hydro boost water gel enough; and it’ll definitely be a regular purchase of mine going forward.

This one, however, is extremely moisturizing and is perfect headed into colder temps! It goes on smoothly and absorbs so quickly - perfect if you're applying makeup afterwards. My skin looks moisturized and even all day long. This is an excellent value compared to more expensive options out there.
