I was a bit skeptical about this product at first, to the point that when my influenster box arrived I refused to use it for a while and then when I finally busted it open I was so surprised and excited! This goes on so smooth and makes my skin feel hydrated and fresh! It wasn't sticky like I thought it would be, it actually felt a little gel-like but smoothed out amazing! While this product seems a little bit pricy for my budget it's something I would consider splurging on and recommending to my friends! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s like a humid climate in a jar, without the gross humidity! Super hydrating, absorbs well, and skin feels super soft and hydrated immediately. After just 3 days, the dry areas of skin on my face were gone. Very light scent, not overpowering at all. It’s a must if you live in a very dry climate, or capitalize even more on a humid climate.

If you have skin on the drier side, you might not feel super hydrated, but with that said, Hydro Boost has kept our skin from becoming too dry. Despite its lightness, it seems to soak into the skin and hydrate it from the inside out.

I normally have combination skin. At 8 months into pregnancy, my skin is more unpredictable than ever. That is why when I had the opportunity to give Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Water Gel a try, I was excited. Within moments of apply this product to my face I had a noticeable different in the texture of my skin. My rough texture on my jaw line was gone, leaving my face smooth and soft. Apply it was a breeze. It has a different type of consistency similar to that between a cream & a gel but without the sticky texture of gel or the greasy feeling of some creams. It did not make my skin “shine” with leftover residue, instead it provides a natural “glow”. (I’ve finally gotten the “pregnancy makes you glow!” comments. I’m not afraid to share my little secret that pregnancy has nothing to do with it!) I received Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel for free, but all opinions are of my own. I had crystal clear skin prior to buying this cursed product. I figured I'd give it a try, because it was around the same price as my usual moisturiser that I ran out of. I tried it on my hand at the store and it felt amazing. So I brought it home and put it on my skin, and it started to sting immediately. WITHIN A FEW HOURS I HAD RED PATCHES ALL OVER MY CHEEKS AS IF I WAS A BURN VICTIM!! Pimples also started to pop out all over my face, something that has never happened in MONTHS despite me being a teen. Folks, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR SKIN and move to a better moisturiser!!! NEVER AGAIN, NEUTROGENA! POISON FOR YOUR SKIN!

This is a great product, but I can't use it daily like I would like. My skin is sensitive to fragrance. Usually I can always find neutrogena products fragrance free - but can't find this without fragrance. Works so well on aging combination skin, but have to limit use.

Personally, I prefer products that don't leave my skin feeling greasy. It’s a very light textured cream, it feels more like a gel. After using it morning and night, I can say that my skin really feels hydrated, radiant and much smoother. I was soo happy to see it has hyaluronic acid, which is one of my favorite ingredients because it’s so good for hydration. I love how quickly it absorbs, and it doesn’t dry sticky!! I’ve found it is perfect to apply right before you start your makeup routine, for a silky-smooth base! My new favorite moisturizer!
