I have been using this moisturizing gel for the last couple weeks morning and evening after washing my face, and I am impressed. It is a bit different than the moisturizers I am used to using--which I expected because it is more of a gel consistency. I love the light scent and how nicely it absorbs into my skin. I definitely can notice my skin feeling softer, more hydrated and rejuvenated. I will admit every time I apply it, I feel as if it is lacking something...but I always end up pleased afterward, so I think I just am not used to using a gel like product. I do think the cost is somewhat steep for the size of product, but the product does work. I tested Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel for free thanks to Influenster, but my review and opinions are my own.

I LOVE this product! The texture was hard getting used to but I’m glad I switched over to this. I have been using this product for about 3 years now. I put it on in the morning as I tend to get oily throughout the day and don’t want my moisturizer to add more shine.

My skin is very dry (especially during winter) and also very sensitive so it's hard to find a product that combats both... that is until now! I've tried moisturizers specifically for dry skin but they always are TOO moisturizing and tend to leave behind an oily film. My skin becomes shiny and greasy which then results in unwanted blemishes and acne. When trying moisturizers for sensitive skin, they usually aren't moisturizing enough and my skin still feels dry and crackly. Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Water Gel is the best of both worlds! Since it's a water based gel, it doesn't leave the oily residue that I despise and it doesn't cause unwanted clogging of the pores. All that's left behind is smooth, soft skin! Although it does have a fragrance, it does not bother me at all. I actually think is smells quite nice! I do recommend that you use this product only after you've cleaned your face so it doesn't mix with anything that's on the surface of your skin. This one by Neutrogena is the first one I've tried, and I absolutely love it! I sometimes use it at night before bed, or in the morning before applying makeup. If my face is feeling extra dry in the morning then this a must for me before make up! If you're new to gel moisturizes, I would highly recommend giving this one a try

The gel absorbed completely into my face and neck. It didn’t really have much of a smell at all. I even tried putting a little in the fridge and used it one morning and it was so refreshing!! I really likes this gel and will be purchasing again!

This has been a great product for my oily skin in the summer! It’s super lightweight and has a nice cooling effect when you put it on. Leaves your face feeling so soft and hydrated without being greasy or heavy. It just absorbed so quickly into the skin. Highly recommend!

I have combination skin and this gel with Hyaluronic Acid did not generate oil in my t-zone of the face during the day. I love the idea that hyaluronic acid has incorporated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the hydro gel. It’s very lightweight and it doesn’t feel heavy after I apply it. It does leave my skin very moisturized. I only use a pea size so a little goes a long way. I let it dry for 2 mins then apply my sunscreen.

And it will last for a long time because it really doesn't take a lot. A little bit goes a long way.it has a nice light scent also. And it leaves your skin feeling so soft and hydrated. I've used so many different hydrating face products and I've never found one that works so quickly. I could tell a difference in my skin after the first use. My flaky patches are finally gone. I will for sure recommend this product to other people and I will continue to use this product in the future. I even have my husband using it once a day and his dry skin is gone! We love it!
