I really like that it goes on light and absorbs fast, yet still gives the kind of hydration a heavier moisturizer gives. I could tell the difference after the first use. Plus it doesn't leave a layer of residue like many moisturizers do. My face dries out easily, especially around my jawline, so it's important for me to have a stronger moisturizer that won't leave my skin feeling like I need to wash it again. I really like how soft and hydrated my skin feels. I also like that it's fragrance-free. I use it before bed and am grateful for the lack of a distracting scent. All in all, I highly recommend giving it a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neutrogena, hydro boost gel cream is a good product, although it did make a skin a bit oily I did start pair it with toner before applying it directly to my face which seem to help tremendously with the oily feeling.

I have been using this product twice a day on my face and it is helping so much! My face is feeling smooth, soft and most of all, hydrated! It comes in a glass jar which makes this product look/feel more luxurious. I love applying this, it literally feels like a spa day in a jar! That alone makes me want to buy it when I run out. It is nice and cold when you apply, a little goes a long way, it is so soft and absorbs great. My face feels hydrated all day and my skin is proof it works! Definitely will be getting more when I run out

I really enjoy this moisturizer and I think it is great. I have the one that is for extra dry skin and it does a great job at keeping my skin hydrated, but not feeling overly moisturized or oily throughout the day. I like to use at night, or even under my make up it works great, no matter how you use it.

I love this gel because it is so super refreshing! It's hot in CA and this feels great when I apply it. It lightly moisturizes my skin without getting greasy. I only take away one star because it is pretty heavily fragranced like a clean linen candle. I tested Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel for free, but all opinions are my own.

I have always been a Neutrogena junkie and have used many different moisturizers that fit within my combination, acne prone skin made within the skincare line.. After buying this moisturizer, I will never go back! It's so lightweight and instantly absorbs into your skin, it's like you can actually feel your skin becoming hydrated at the tips of your fingers. The cream is very thin and water based so it applies like a gel moisturizer. I was surprised that it had blue dye and fragrance in it. It seemed so unnecessary for a skincare product. I’ve really come to know this brand as a gentle brand for sensitive skin. I will be more careful about what products I choose from them in the future. I did see that there is a fragrance free version of this product so I will try that. The cream burned my face a little the first time I used it because of the added fragrance. I did find it leaves my face very soft and plump. I have only been using it in the morning because of the irritation. It did not make my breakouts worse or better.

I have an oily skin type and have dry patches of skin on my chin and on the sides of my nose. I usually skip on moisturizers because from previous experiences, my skin just becomes more oily than usual. With the Neutrogena #HydroBoost made my skin feel soft and smooth without making it oilier. I can use this every night without having to worry about waking up with an oily skin. I like how it healed the dry patches around my nose and chin and I like how fast its effect is. It's neither oily nor greasy and it absorbs quickly.
