Very sturdy, well built, heavy duty rowing machine. SpaceSaver is a must have. Returned unit because ProForm is tied to iFit. Unfortunately you cannot turn machine on until you set a monthly payment plan with iFit through there downloaded app. After the free 30 days on iFit unit loses to many valuable features to make it worth the hgh price. I would be interested in keeping this if offered a free service and all the features. iFit app not so user friendly.

Seems to be a nice piece of equipment. The only gripe of have is about the set up. ProForm placed a big sticker on the read out that say the machine is locked until you log in to their iFit subscription. I found on another retailers website that if you simply hold the iFit button for about 30 seconds, it will go into manual mode and then all of the built in controls and settings work as they should.

We have a large family room downstairs, and I have a nice treadmill. I started watching reviews about rowers and got interested in the idea of purchasing one. One thing I found out right away is they are expensive, or they are junk. Many of the rowing machines were immediately eliminated by professional rowers by the build. Can't do a proper rowing motion on many of the budget machines so what is the point of purchasing a rower. I found some really nice ones. The Hydro brand, The Nautilus Brand. These are awesome machines. The problem is they are 2000 dollars plus another 300 plus per year for videos to use the monitor. I came across two that are reasonably priced with good reviews. The concept rower which is supposed to be a gym favorite and this model here. I currently have a smaller priced ifit membership (one where you pay less for using your tablet pc to sync with the rower.) I thus went with this specific model because it is a lower price and the ifit. As for the specific machine. Its not too bad. I'm probably the last person to ask about how this compares to being on the water as I spend little time there. What I like about this machine other than the price is the fact that I can use this without an Ifit membership. The display works fairly well without one. However, the print is small and therefore difficult to read while rowing. The speakers are very nice and loud if you want them to be. Controlling the display works very well. So being a beginner at these rowing machines I am happy with the display and being able to adjust the tension with the press of a button. This machine enables a proper rowing stroke whether tall or short and one of the main reasons that I purchased this model. The build is quite good. The weight is 100 pounds, so it feels like a nice piece of exercise equipment. If you want the 100 and some Ifit subscription that is where this rower is at its best. The fun videos teaching how to row and the scenic stuff is nice. But again, if you don't want Ifit this device works quite well. If you have a good smartwatch all of this stuff will be on there anyway. To conclude: The rower is reasonably priced, has a quality build, nice rowing feel, good display with easy controls, Assembly is as easy as it gets. Not the best machine but definitely the best value that I could find.

I am a Full-Time Personal Trainer and own a small commercial gym. I have been wanting to add a Row Machine to my facility for some time and was leaning toward the more popular Concept II. While researching rowers I came across the ProForm 750R and was impressed with the reviews; I then found Walmart sold it for much less than other retailers. I was immediately impressed. It is silent, smooth and easy to coach. After 8 years in the industry I can honestly say I believe this machine is superior to its competition. I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. This Rower exceeded my expectations and is a great addition to my gym.

This product came quickly. It was easy to assemble. I love the machine, it’s quiet and folds up easy. It feels solid and well made. It looks like a professional machine. The app is optional. It comes with a free 30 day trial. I like the instructor led classes, they make you work harder.

Had for about two weeks and so far it works great, It says 250 limit and I'm every bit of that and 76" feels very solid. Wife it light weight 5 footer and perfect for her as well. Had one of those cheap ones with the hydraulics and this is a huge up grade. Dont use the online stuff.

Good price and quiet machine but as an out of shape 30 year old I started out at the highest resistance it offered and wished there was more. Im 6’ and the rower/strap is very low and I feel it affects my form during rows. Overall regret the purchase for myself personally. Poor placement of electrical cord as my cord bent when moving machine and now it’s also unusable. I would have returned if I had the means to transport it.

I bought this as a second choice to a NordicTrack when the NT shippers kept scheduling deliveries and not showing up. I'm very happy they didn't show up now. I saved a lot of money and think I got a better machine. Although I am sure it was good in the long run that the rower arrived undamaged, I would try and avoid all the huge staples. Not a big deal for me but I can see it getting in the way of opening and then breaking down the box for recycling. I'm just super patient. The rower was pretty easy to put together. It's nearly fully assembled. I'm a small woman and put it together by myself. Probably the "hardest" part was attaching the display to the rower. Don't tighten all bolts at once, but that's pretty much good practice anyway. The rower was easy to activate with ifit. Since I am new to online classes I am having fun going through the options and learning this rower's features. My gluts definitely need more workout time because, contrary to other reviewers, I find the padding a little lacking...but I think it's me. Hopefully, that will change with more time on the machine! The best part of this rower is that it takes up less space than my dog's crate when it folds up. Perfect for my small condo.

Ive had the rower a week and so far so good. Set up was easy. Okay, so I didnt put it together but I didnt hear any complaints from my son in law who did. I used my iPad to sync to iFit without any problems. There is a large sticker over the console saying you have to call iFit to sync. If you already have an IFit account you can ignore this and select pair device on your tablet, press the blue button on the rower et voila, you are connected. Its easy to fold up which is great if, like me you are rowing in a small room. A little cumbersome to move but not too bad. Im a new rower so dont know enough to comment on how good of a machine it is comparatively but it moves smooth, is quiet, and offers me suitable resistance.

I've purchased Proform before. I had purchased a treadmill about 8 years ago and it still works. I consider Proform a middle-of-the-road brand for fitness equipment which is what I was looking for. I originally wanted a Concept 2 rowing machine but the wait time and price was a bit of a turn-off. The rower comes almost entirely assembled. You basically just have to attach the seat and control panel/arm and you are set. The box it comes in is extremely large and heavy (I think they listed the shipping weight as 110 pounds). Once out of the box I was happy with the quality I saw. It looked sturdy and pretty nice overall. I've used the Proform 750r for 2 weeks now and can say the following. * The magnetic resistance is good for those who are not already muscular. If you already have good muscle tone built up you will want fan or water resistance. For someone like me, who has let themselves go during covid, it's perfect. * It is quiet. The seat will make more noise than the actual machine. * It is comfortable (of course this is subjective). The seat is cushioned enough, the handle has some nice padding, and the foot platforms work good. * The display panel could use some work. While it does cycle through the different stats and you can remove some before you work out, I'd really like it to display a set of stats constantly rather than cycle through them. Plus, it doesn't remember which ones you remove when you turn it off, so you have to remove them each time. It does have key stats such as strokes / 500m. * Putting it away isn't easy. You have to tilt it forward and then fold the other half into the underside of the front. My 5-foot tall wife doesn't like it. I don't mind it but it's not great. * I can get a good sweat with less than 10 minutes of rowing. I just did 4000m in about 13 minutes this evening. Overall, it should work for me for several years. Rowing is a technical exercise. Don't start gung-ho when you first get the machine. Watch some videos and work your way up focusing on your technique first and then your fitness. As others have noted, you don't have to activate iFit when you get the machine (despite all of the warnings and literature that comes with it). Plug it in and hold the iFit button for about 30 seconds and the display should activate. You only have to do that the first time.
