I’m a first time rower and 60. I love it! It was easy to assemble albeit heavy. I suggest you get a little help if your small. The machine is quite, sturdy and comfortable. I signed up for IFIT and love the workouts it provides. There is so much to choose from. I had only one end cap that I believe is the wrong piece because it’s too big. This however doesn’t affect the machine. I would recommend.

Great choice! Has plenty of resistance to work up to with the magnetic wheel and offers a total body cardio workout! It's easy to fold up and move around and fits in the corner of our room nicely when we're not using it. The display is simple and the app connects easily.

I loved the Cyber Monday price. Couldn't pass it up. Like the quality and the ease of use. The only dislike is the tablet holder. It doesn't work with a Samsung table that has the power button on the top. The holder pushes down on the power button and tries to turn it off. I'm going to try adding a strip of dense foam on 3/4ths of the upper holder and see if that takes pressure off the other end and doesn't affect the buttons.

How is ProForm so much less expensive than its competitors? My only guess is perhaps it is because the company is still making a name for itself. I bought a ProForm treadmill back in 2017 and it was phenomenal! My ex-wife and I used it nearly every day for four years, then sold it (after we split). I just bought this rower at the beginning of the month and, yet again, I'm VERY happy with the purchase. I was nervous about ordering online, because it's a pain to go through returning a product this size after it is removed from the box. The packaging material is superb! I think the delivery guy could have thrown the box from the truck without causing damaging the contents with how well the machine is protected in the packaging. Great work, ProForm! It comes about 85% pre-assembled. SUPER EASY installation. I think a 12-year old could put it together. It may help to have two people, but I did it myself with no issues. I'm a slightly higher than moderately-strong male. Finally I'll add as others have stated that the machine has warning banners all over it, stating that it is "locked" and that you must visit a website and subscribe to unlock it, but that's not true. Just hold the iFit button 30 secs and you'll be good to go -- no extra costs necessary! ProForm is STILL great bang for your buck! Buy their products while they still are! They are 2 for 2 so far with me!

Had for about two weeks and so far it works great, It says 250 limit and I'm every bit of that and 76" feels very solid. Wife it light weight 5 footer and perfect for her as well. Had one of those cheap ones with the hydraulics and this is a huge up grade. Dont use the online stuff.

Bought this to replace my Proform rower that I lost in a flood. This is a terrific rowing machine just like the last one I owned. I highly recommend it. I am in my 70’s with a metabolic age of 56. I row 4 to 5 days per week using the IFIT app I pay $15 per month. IFIT paired with the rower automatically adjusts the tension as you follow the instrutor through the rowing session.

We have a large family room downstairs, and I have a nice treadmill. I started watching reviews about rowers and got interested in the idea of purchasing one. One thing I found out right away is they are expensive, or they are junk. Many of the rowing machines were immediately eliminated by professional rowers by the build. Can't do a proper rowing motion on many of the budget machines so what is the point of purchasing a rower. I found some really nice ones. The Hydro brand, The Nautilus Brand. These are awesome machines. The problem is they are 2000 dollars plus another 300 plus per year for videos to use the monitor. I came across two that are reasonably priced with good reviews. The concept rower which is supposed to be a gym favorite and this model here. I currently have a smaller priced ifit membership (one where you pay less for using your tablet pc to sync with the rower.) I thus went with this specific model because it is a lower price and the ifit. As for the specific machine. Its not too bad. I'm probably the last person to ask about how this compares to being on the water as I spend little time there. What I like about this machine other than the price is the fact that I can use this without an Ifit membership. The display works fairly well without one. However, the print is small and therefore difficult to read while rowing. The speakers are very nice and loud if you want them to be. Controlling the display works very well. So being a beginner at these rowing machines I am happy with the display and being able to adjust the tension with the press of a button. This machine enables a proper rowing stroke whether tall or short and one of the main reasons that I purchased this model. The build is quite good. The weight is 100 pounds, so it feels like a nice piece of exercise equipment. If you want the 100 and some Ifit subscription that is where this rower is at its best. The fun videos teaching how to row and the scenic stuff is nice. But again, if you don't want Ifit this device works quite well. If you have a good smartwatch all of this stuff will be on there anyway. To conclude: The rower is reasonably priced, has a quality build, nice rowing feel, good display with easy controls, Assembly is as easy as it gets. Not the best machine but definitely the best value that I could find.

Power cord is to short and the jack is in a horrible place if you need to move it. It also does not move well if you nee to move it very far. Other than that it is fine.

Works well and gives a great workout, quiet and folds up great. My big gripe is that the pictures on the box make it look like it comes with a built in screen. It requires your own tablet or digital device with an app download to sync with ifit.

Good price and quiet machine but as an out of shape 30 year old I started out at the highest resistance it offered and wished there was more. Im 6’ and the rower/strap is very low and I feel it affects my form during rows. Overall regret the purchase for myself personally. Poor placement of electrical cord as my cord bent when moving machine and now it’s also unusable. I would have returned if I had the means to transport it.
