I appreciate the simplicity of the ingredient list. The taste, as is, is needy; the texture, when quickly cooked as directed, is a bit tough. Both the taste and texture were much improved by slowly simmering the cooked meat in brown gravy with caramelized onions. As the enclosed seasoning packets were not to my taste, I substituted my own blend of herbs. The advantages of this product are that: (1) it is relatively pure and simple; (2) it is not pre-seasoned, so it is adaptable to one's own taste; (3) it cooks up very quickly; and (4) price-wise, this is a bargain.
