The cans of yams contain a lot of syrup which makes the yams themself a loose consistency. It's okay if you like to mash your yams. Need more yam and less syrup. Did taste okay.

I found these sweet potatoes to be l little grainy and thin textured. I blended them and made mashed sweet potatoes from a can and the flavor was fine.

The flavor of Bruce’s yams are delicious. We like our yams in chunks of potato rather than mashed. This is the only brand that I have used for 45 years. I was happy to see the smaller cans at Sam’s Club. When I opened the can, it was filled with tiny pieces of sweet potato. Maybe an inch and 1/2 x 3/4” pieces. They used to be 2 1/2 to 3 inch pieces. It is disappointing that they’ve changed the size of the potatoes. It is unfortunate that this product no longer suits my taste. I guess I will have to go with fresh sweet potatoes from the produce section and make my own toffee glaze. I wish they would bring them back to the way they were.

I have used Bruce's yams for years to make candied yams. This year all 4 cans are nothing but tiny bits of mush! Where are the large cut pieces from the past? The largest piece was about the size of a quarter. I didn't expect to have all 4 cans to have soft mushy yams. So disappointed in this product. It deserves zero stars. Unusable, wasted money and time!

These yams were very tasty and came in a 4-pack. I just needed 1 for Thanksgiving dinner.

These were purchased for a food drive at work, the price was right and the need is plenty. Everyone can help!

Ever wonder where all the “seconds” of yams go to? Well “Bruce” is paid to take them. No quality with these yams. Hope you like stems, dirt, rocks, debris, off color yams. If so, these are for you!!

In the past, there have been large chunks of yams. This time, all 4 cans were pure liquid. Looked like yam puree. I agree with the previous review that these are very different from what I've previously received.
