Purchased these for the holidays and loved the savings I got with these. I wished Sam's carried more canned fruits in muli-packs. It is really hard to find some there but glad I was able to get the Yams.

Ever wonder where all the “seconds” of yams go to? Well “Bruce” is paid to take them. No quality with these yams. Hope you like stems, dirt, rocks, debris, off color yams. If so, these are for you!!

In the past, there have been large chunks of yams. This time, all 4 cans were pure liquid. Looked like yam puree. I agree with the previous review that these are very different from what I've previously received.

The flavor of Bruce's yams are delicious. We like our yams in chunks of potato rather than mashed. This is the only brand that I have used for 45 years. I was happy to see the smaller cans at Sam's Club. When I opened the can, it was filled with tiny pieces of sweet potato. Maybe an inch and 1/2 x 3/4” pieces. They used to be 2 1/2 to 3 inch pieces. It is disappointing that they've changed the size of the potatoes. It is unfortunate that this product no longer suits my taste. I guess I will have to go with fresh sweet potatoes from the produce section and make my own toffee glaze. I wish they would bring them back to the way they were.

I buy my canned yams in late October for Thanksgiving. If you wait until the Holiday then they're sold out. I prefer this brand because they are not overly cooked. They are chunky and stay together. I have bought off brands but they are mushy, broken or squashed. All have good flavor.

I don't care for yams, but my wife says there good.

Use this to mash up and make sweet potato casserole with praline topping … so good!
