creates mold

don't buy this toothbrush. this new housing design hold and traps water. it turns into mild. gross black sluggish gunk. almost impossible to get this to stay dry. must remove head and rinse thoroughly and hope it dries out.

Mekesha, we&#39;re incredibly sorry to hear about this. Please know that there’s nothing in our toothbrush components that would cause mold before use. Mold requires organic material to grow, which isn’t present in our brushes. While it’s rare, mold can develop after use if the brush is stored in a damp area or comes into contact with certain cleaning agents or soaps that can make the plastic porous. We know you&#39;ve tried cleaning it already, but if you aren&#39;t doing so, rinse the brush head under running water with the handle on then switch it off. Then, as you&#39;ve been doing, remove the head, clean both parts separately, and dry them before reattaching. We&#39;d like to connect about this and help. Please call us at 800-566-7252.<br />
