5 Years and still working

Purchased a set of 6 in 2017. They still work fine but usage is light.

Evaluated this Battery for Golf Cart

I have a 36 volt golf cart with new motor that I just bought. I called the motor supplier to find out what it would take to speed up golf cart and he said "more voltage". Instead of spending $700 on new batteries and then $300 on new charger, I decided to test the theory. I bought one 8 volt battery and put it in series with my 36 volt golf cart batteries for total voltage of 44 volts. Before I did this, I adjusted my golf cart controller to accept the higher voltage and also put a 12 volt zener in series with my Solenoid coil circuit (so I d it didn't overtax the solenoid). The golf cart went from max speed of 22 mph to 25+ mph. I didn't drive too long because I planned to return battery until I was able to buy total set. Once I go to 48 volts, I may scale speed back via Controller because, otherwise, I'll be running around 28+ mph.

poor performance

Save your money and buy Trojan batteries, one of mine failed after 13 months. No pro-rated warranty.
