Golf cart batteries are very important. These are reliable and cost-effective.

I purchased 6 of these 8 volt batteries for my golf car and they work great. The proof however will be in their longevity.

Purchased the batteries 6 weeks ago and used them 1 time I was impressed with the performance of the batteries.

I bought 6 of these new at Sam's on 9/21/19. Here it is 10/26/19 and I have had one fail and hope it will be the only one. 5 read at 8.9 volts on the meter and the one that failed read 1.7 volts. Returning it for exchange and will update this review if any more fail, or not. For the price and if the new battery stays okay I would recommend purchasing.

They wont post this but it the truth, bought 6 batteries 2 failed in a month, holes in the bottom and the acid leaked out, Took them back and they was so rude, waited months for a replacement and it never happened, AGAIN,,They wont post this becouse they know it purt JUNK,,,,,Ken

Bought 6 batteries in April 2018. Thing have been good up until last week. One of the batteries is dying (7.4 v), the other 5 are still good (8.4 v). Not sure if I want to replace or go ahead and make the move to lithium. Moving from the 6 dying batteries 4 years ago really gave the cart some get up and go and long run time. Except for the 1 battery going bad, they have been good.

Used click and pick up service and the batteries were in a cart waiting for me when I arrived. Sam's personnel, as usual, were very helpful in loading the batts in my car. Since installed, my cart has run fine with no electrical problems. Sam's probably saved me at least $200.00 as compared to having a golf cart dealer do it.

These are the worst batteries for a golf car that is used for any long distances. TOTAL GARBAGE. Do yourself a favor and spend an additional 20.00 a battery for TROJAN 875's. Or 10.00 more for the BLACK BOX that are Trojan Made; I promise that you will Thank me later. If I could I would have taken them all back and got a refund. But alas they just replace these; Every month I would have a battery get a dead cell, and with one of the 6 like that, the smart charger cooks the rest to death trying to charge the battery bank. The warrantee is only as long as 12 months from date of purchase for the original set. The DURACELL name used to mean something for AA, AAA 9V and D and C cells. But NOT for DEEP CYCLE BATTERIES; HONESTLY DO NOT BUY THESE!

I worked for DEKA Battery in PA for several years. These batteries are made by Deka in Lyon Station, PA and are identical to DEKA brand. Only difference is the sticker they put on it. These are excellent quality batteries. I have a 9 year old set of DEKA's in my 95 Club Car and the pack of six 8 volt batteries are still holding strong at 50.4v after being off the charger for 30+ hours. These Duracell's will be the replacement for my DEKAs if they ever die.
