Already had this unit for 2 months and it has been such a great addition outdoor area. We live in South Florida and needed a gazebo over the newly updated BBQ area to protect it from the sun and the rain. Once the gazebo was completely up you can feel how sturdy and solid it sits on the surface without having secure it against the wall, it can free stand with no additional support. After an extensive research this unit by far proved to be the more high quality gazebo and the assembly instructions were very easy to follow with all hardware clearly marked. This has transformed the backyard to even a better space in our home and enhancing the look of outdoor space. Some of our visitors have been so impressed by it that they are planning to add one to there outdoor space.

This kit was excellent. Extra fasteners in case you lost one on the ground while building was a plus. Super easy installation booklet. The app was clunky and too time consuming to use. Love the protection for my car and we will use it for outdoor gatherings as well. I will paint it to match the rest of my house posts soon.

We bought our grill gazebo about a month ago and were able to put it together this weekend. It took us about six hours. Most parts lined up well, some needed “coaxing”. Overall we are very pleased with the results and love the way it looks on our patio. It is our second outdoor structure from Backyard Discovery.

Fit and finish were great. Does take quite a bit of time to assemble. I was in construction for years and it was challenging. The only help I had was lifting the roof up. Get yourself a set of good clamps to help temporarily holding things in place. A must.

This review is actually of our XL Saxony Grill pergola…just finally finished installing last week. The pergola was easy to put together. Instructions were very clear, and 3d view was very helpful. My wife and I put as much as possible together in preparation for our sons joining us to connect the four posts and add the roof…it now houses our original outdoor kitchen. It is our 2nd Backyard Discovery pergola (you can see in the picture, behind the Saxony XL, our Arcadia Pergola, which we use primarily for concerts and movies). Purchased the 20x12 kingsport carport and ended up enjoying it so much that two years later I purchased the 24x12 arcadia gazebo. Besides the enjoyment in general they are actually sturdy enough for the Pennsylvania mountains wind and snow…and look cool in the process lol.

I bought and assembled my grill gazebo earlier this month. The kit was very well packed and came with all the necessary hardware including some extras! The directions were fairly easy to follow but you need to pay attention to the details in the pictures. I found it easier to build the roof structure and mount it before installing the roof panels. It was much lighter to lift with two people. Once installed, we added the roof panels one by one using two ladders. The gazebo looks great and is very functional. I have both my pellet grill/smoker and BBQ side by side under the gazebo!!

I purchased my Backyard Discovery Saxony XL grill gazebo to for our outdoor grill station. All of our parts were in great condition and install was pretty straightforward. It’s great having a place to cook and serve hot off the griddle or smoker . Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

We absolutely love our 14x12 Arcadia gazebo. My husband and I set this up by ourselves. The instructions were impeccable. Although, you do need to have advanced DIY skills in order to tackle we took our time and were able to do it. Every detail was perfectly outlined. The kit itself was extremely high quality. The end product is beautiful and sturdy. We couldn’t be happier with it!

This purchase has made my outdoor space a retreat from the day to day hustle and bustle . We have received many compliments and even have had people stop and knock on our door
