The Saxony XL is a fantastic gazebo! The quality of the materials is incredible. The lumber is excellent quality, the fasteners are very strong, and all comes very efficiently and safely packaged. The instructions are exceptionally detailed. While rekatively easy to assemble, it does take 2 people, 3 is best when lifting the roof. We used a sealer on all wood components before assembling and allowed ample time to dry. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending the Saxony XL Grill Gazebo!

Great gazebo! Looks good and fits our space beautifully. Wife is extremely happy. Will watch to see how it weathers over time. Lessons learned: The instructions provide many opportunities to make mistakes that require disassembly and reassembly. Specifically, the instructions fail to provide accurate indications of top/bottom, front/back, left/right WITHIN in each step. It also doesn’t tell you that you will need two, three, and four people to perform some steps. The online and paper instructions are not the same. Backyard Discovery should assemble the gazebo and validate their instructions every step and sub-step of the way, and update both online and paper instructions. 12 hours is a pretty good estimate for assembly. Customers should be cautioned that the stained wood will most likely be scratched up during assembly. It would be helpful to include a small container of the stain used or at least the brand name and color.

The Backyard Discovery Saxony XL Grill Gazebo exceeded my expectations. We chose the DIY option. It wasn't too difficult to assemble took 3 of us about 6 hours to complete. We ran into one hiccup, but a quick call to the customer service line had the issue resolved in no time at all. If I was to do it again I would probably pay the extra money to have someone else put it together, unless you truly enjoy building things I would recommend a installer. The Gazebo itself is high quality and looks amazing. They do recommend you weather seal it after you put it together, so make sure you plan to do that to keep it looking amazing for years to come. The plugs it comes with are great and a nice added touch. Overall, this gazebo is a home run and a great value. It is super durable and feels solid.

Not only does it look great but it’s a perfect size. I had been on the fence about buying for awhile because of the price but I’m glad I finally did. It is very heavy and the materials are quality. The shipment and packaging were well done. It is definitely a 2 person build, so plan accordingly. It took my father-in-law and I about 4 hours to assemble (and we are both pretty handy).

I bought this back in October and it took me 2 days to complete. Pretty straightforward instructions just keep all your fasteners separated. Definitely solicit the help from two or three friends to put the roof portion on hasn't made it very easy. I purchased corrugated galvanized Barn Roofing from the local hardware store and covered in the back which is very helpful when it snows as you can see from the pictures. Miss gazebo is well worth the price and a bargain compared to others.

With prices of wood through the roof right now, a roof was out of my budget. With no protection over my charcoal grill, rain has been an issue. When I saw this at Sam's Club, I bought it immediately. The next day after assembling it, I was out there cooking some epic burgers during a very strong spring storm. Rain, thunder and lightning didn't affect my cookout at all. Assembly (for me) took 4 1/2 hours and I had to invoke the help of my wife and daughter a couple times, but it wasn't overly difficult. I would have given it 5 stars, but it didn't come with wood lag bolts for fastening to our aging deck. A trip to Lowe's remedied that. Plus, they only have 4 roof rafter brackets, and in my most humblest opinion, it should have had 6.

i previously purchased the Arlington 12x10 Gazebo about a year ago and i was AMAZED and the quality of the product delivered to me. Everything was exactly as i expected it, except for the hardware. not to get into too much detail here, it was a slight nightmare getting it to all come together as it was supposed to. it took a lot of muscle and a lot of time but we got it up and it looks Amazing. when i saw that they now made a Grill Gazebo i got so excited because having the Arlington now for a year, i know i was dealing with a superior product. but i was worried about the assembly, i did not want the same thig to happen to me again. I emailed the company and they assured me they corrected that issue, so i bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered it. it was delivered right to my backyard and i went ahead and had a fun weekend putting it together. Well let me tell you, not only did i NOT need the weekend to put it together, the Hardware isse was FIXED!! everything went off without a hitch and i t was all assembled and up within 4 hours. AMAZING. i cannot believe they made their product even better. it just tell me that this company real cares about there product and i cannot for the need to purchase another Patio product. HIGHLEY RECOMMEDNED. if i could give the product more than 5 stars i will. now, if you excuse me, i am going to put in some light in my new Grill Gazebo and enjoy my grilling experience!

Backyard Discovery includes superior quality components with good fit-and-finish. Saxony XL Grill Gazebo is a good size for our patio. Full sized gazebos are too large and other brand grill gazebos, too small. Also, cheaper gazebos from some other brands have parts that appear inferior in quality - a few extra bucks spent here was well worth it. Flipped one countertop to the inside to better suit our needs. Added LED lights under the roof and finished it in an Olympic stain to preserve the wood and it looks great!

It was easier to assemble than I thought it would be, but definitely need at least 2 people. It is very sturdy and looks beautiful. Great product and well worth the price
