I am 75 years old and have been drinking coffee for 55 of those years. I learned to drink it black in the Navy and still prefer it that way today. I started drinking Peet's Major Dickason's Blend in 2001 and have enjoyed a couple of cups every morning since. Keep up the good work. We live on the California coast about 90 miles south of the Oregon border. I wish we had a coffee shop nearby so I could pop in and grab a latte once in a while.

Ever since my first taste of Major Dickason's blend, I've been hooked, no other coffee can hold a candle to this blend. The look, the smell, and the taste are so good, you will NEVER want to drink anything else. I manually grind my own beans, and totally enjoy smelling the smells as the beans are grinding. Go ahead and treat yourself to the best coffee ever!

I bought this because of its popularity to give it a try. For me, it is decidedly meh. Not objectionable, but no real personality either. Caveat: Compared to the other coffees I drink. Certainly, if you are used to ordinary, sour-tasting, burned coffee, this will be a revelation of goodness. If it is the first good coffee you have ever had (compared to coffees which are considered to be good but are really just vehicles for multiple add-ins), you are likely to swoon. But compared head on with smooth, rich, deeply flavorful coffees, there doesn't seem to be much here. Would I recommend it to a friend? Depends on where I think that friend stands, with respect to coffee. There is certainly nothing wrong with this - no flaws other than lack of distinction.

We love the flavor of Peet's coffee and the price was good even with shipping costs. The downside is the "best purchase by" date was only 4 weeks from when we received it. It was roasted 2 months earlier. Would have given it 5 stars if it had been fresher.

Our household has been drinking MD blend for two years, but over the summer of 2017, something has changed. We loved the depth of roast and the notes of warm chocolate that greeted us with every bag, but now there are fruity notes and a definite "breakfast bland" taste. Yes, I meant bland. What happened to the old formulation? We can't drink this anymore, which is a change we didn't want. Brink back the old MD's!!

I have been buying Major Dickinson coffee for many years. I have tried other coffees but keep coming back to this as my favorite. I just bought some to make cold brew coffee. It is amazing in a cold brew. I did the full amount and It was actually too strong and I love it strong. It holds up yo being poured over ice with a bit of almond milk for creaminess. I highly recommend this blend hot or cold. It is my go to.

I bought some ground Major Dickason's Blend at my local grocery store to take on a camping trip. It was so delicious! My husband and I decided to subscribe and have whole beans delivered weekly. We were disappointed that the whole beans shipped to our door were not nearly as rich and flavorful as the ground beans we bought at the store. In fact, they did not taste fresh at all. We have cancelled the subscription as a result.

Found this coffee at the Frederick, MD club, about 30 minutes from my house. It is, hands down, the absolute best coffee I have ever had.......ever!!! I make a special trip to the Frederick club every couple of months just to stock up. I can't wait for my Hagerstown club to start carrying it. It has a really great, full bodied flavor with not even a hint of bitterness, and no burnt flavor like so many other coffees. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

Love this coffee but I mix it 50/50 with the Cafe Domingo and I get a coffee that has the perfect flavor for my taste. No matter what brewing method I use it just seems to taste perfect. I am not a coffee snob and could not tell you a top notch bean from an inferior one but I just am very picky about coffee tasting a certain way for me to enjoy drinking it. I have found with many experimentations that this particular mix works beautifully. I serve it to guests in a percolator and it goes over extremely well and they always want a second cup and I am asked what it is. either way, this is a great coffee and I have been drinking it for many years.
