Great product, bad shipping. Coffee arrived with the bottom of the bag split open and coffee beans scattered inside the shipping box. Three-quarters of the bag was still usable.

This is a dark-medium roast that is well balanced between these two roasts (not full dark or medium but perfectly between). I like that this is whole bean so I can grind each time I brew.

I did a one-year study of dark-roast beans, mostly sold in the U.S., and kept coming back to this one. Also, my order usually arrives with the beans still warm, usually within 24 hours of roasting.

I looked for over a year for a coffee that I could truly enjoy drinking black and finally I found Major Dickason's Blend. It has been my go to ever since.

Very good dark roast and not to oily. I use a burr grinder set on 6 which is slightly coarse. With the right amount of water to coffee it turns out great.

I've recently subscribed and have no regrets. Fresh roasted and delivered automatically has been wonderful. Major Dickason's blend is robust and smooth (my favorite dark roast); getting it fresh roasted and delivered is a win-win.

I am searching for a dark, bold coffee that will become my favorite for both pour over and espresso. Major Dickason's Blend has come the closest so far. I plan to try Peet's French Roast next.

I recently started the subscription and love it. I especially loved the grind I ordered for a pour-over (the french press grind). I makes a lovely cup of coffee and not bitter.
